I have all the SEED and SEED Destiny Master grades, the 1st 5 gundams in 1/144 HG, the astrays and the akatsuki in 1/100. I also have gaia and force impulse in 1/144 HG. I'm so hoping for the sword impulse to come out as a master grade or a red or magenta infinite justice in master grade. I hope the autumn seed will provide one of those.

The Astrays in 1/100? That would include the famous beautiful Gold Frame Amatu, right?

And wow, all the SEED and Destiny MGs... Lots of Strike there, I suppose ;)

You don't have five first Gundams in 1/100 but 1/144, huh? Well, I decided to collect them once I got Buster and Duel. Now my mission is accomplished :D

Judging from the color scheme at the end of the clip, I dare to say that it shall be a MG Infinite Justice this Fall :)

ya, i notice that too, i wonder if the model is hard to clip or they just do a sloppy job putting it together.

Im thinkin of getting a hg rick dom 2 , do you guys think its worth it? Im afraid its gonna be super small, I mean the 1 high grade though small that i thought was perfect at its side was the rms106 hizack but i wonder what the rick dom will be like or should i save a little more and get the zaku 2 mg? im leaning towards the mg cuz i am quite a good painter imo and they are very detailed and id rather have the moving monoeye piece than a sticker one, btw anyone else disappointed about the gundam seed and seed destiny high grade kits ? They are nice and all but the hguc kits are better, more sturdy and a tiny bit bigger.

i'd go with the MG, but then again once you get it you wont want to go back to 1:144 scale.

building-wise itll be more fun since you can now construct the inner frame.

if you have the money and have the dedication towards painting your gundam, do it on MGs.

Yeah but mg's are pretty expencive and my dad is gonna be pestering me for wasting my money though I do get pleasure from working on my models, you think I could get a rick dom mg for 40 bucks?

Gunpla is never a waste of money. ;)

GSaM have MG Rick Dom for about $43 bucks plus shipping, though you can probably find a cheaper one if you look hard enough.

Also, GSaM changed their domain name to gundamwingstore.com. O_o

Im headin to china town soon, im gonna pick up either a master grade dom2 or a jagd doga gyunei coloured, the jagd doga master grade is the smallest of the mg but its still sizable. Ill put up pics when I finish building them.

Ok the good news, the dude got a new shipment and he saved me the hg dom tropen desert camo ive been lookin for ages. The bad news was no dom mg and jagd doga isnt made in mg, it turned out to be quite a sizable hg. I bought the 25 dollar dom tropen considering he saved it for me though a high grade Nemo for 40 bucks caught my eye, next week or something im gonna buy the rather sizable hg jagd doga for 30 bucks. Ill put up pics of my Desert Camo Dom tropen when its done.

Sorry if this has been answered hundreds of times, but what's the average size/height of a 1/144 Gundam figure? And of a 1/100?

I just got into Gundam, but they're so sick I have to get me a model or two.

Ya, so called improved version is just to milk more money. I dont see many people getting it unless they are a hardcore RX78 fan.

Quick question.

How does everyone keep your models clean? Dust is really annoying to take care of and it attracts like crazy if you happen to like glossy finishes.

Is there some special way you guys clean them more easily, if not. Then are there any places you can buy some of those display type cases for keeping them in?

Most 1/100s are around 6-8 inches. 10 inches is way too big.

Yeah my bad, those are more closer to pg though i once saw a model kit that was hg but it's box was the size of a pg, must be big dunno how thats a hg

I think what you saw was a 1/60 scale HG Strike.

Grades does not necessary mean the size.

all 1/100 model without MG sign on the box are all actually under HG category.
biggest 1/144 HG box out there is probably Psycho or Gaplant.

High Grade: 1/144, 1/100(most of the W, Seed, and I think all the Gundam X models are 1/100 HG), 1/60(only one I know is allie strike)
MG: 1/100
PG: 1/60
