How about RG Freedom standing on fantum backpack firing together with justice to the trio druggies? =x

It's in the little things like strike who cannot store it's armor sniders in his sidepockets, arios ascalon who desperately needs a stand but doesn't come with one, cherudim who cannot store his sniper rifle on his shoulder, GN-x who can't store his weapon of his hip, etc...all small things that even the 1/144 HG's can do, so i exspect it in a action figure that's 3 or 4 times more expensive. If you don't mind the smaller scale HCM Pro fihures are alot better. |

Or maybe I'll just buy the deactive version since I've wanted that for a long time now. The old 1/100 Freedom Deactive looks like crap:heh:. |
The Robot Damashii Duel Gundam has been pushed back August 23rd, rather than releasing on July 28th. Why would Bandai do this? Delay a figure by a month when its release date is two weeks away?
|
maybe they had a problem with the production of the figure. as long as they dont release an official statement we will probably never know^^
|
Well, I sure as hell hope the delay isn't to remove the Asault Shroud pieces and re-sell them as webshop exclusives...

Exclusives realy get my blood boiling with rage. |

But I have been collecting the Robot Damashii series since it started in 2008. So I just put up with it. But I figure since the only change to the Duel Gundam is a release date, things should be fine. If Bandai was removing the AS pieces, online stores would start re-listing it as just "Duel Gundam", and not "Duel Gundam with Assault Shroud Armor". I'm just expecting that possibility, since Bandai has both impressed, and disappointed me in the past. |

Exia huh.... That would be awesome. I'm hoping for X. Fat chance of it getting made ./sarcasm, but it looks good, but hasn't even got a MG |

Can't begin to say how awkward it is to have my Wing Gundam Girl sitting next to Wing Ver Ka MG and have the Girl have better wings. As for OO, I could very much see Bandai releasing OO as a stand alone and then later releasing the O Raiser that came with a special stand for both. |

Will Bandai settle for a Hyaku Shiki instead, being a Char suit? |

Question:
Has anyone painted the MG Strike Freedom's inner gold frames black before (not the entire kit)? |
Quote:
It's kind of a trade mark of the suit really, would be weird to see in any other colour but not to say it wouldn't work in a different colour. Just wouldn't be as cool I'd guess. Scratch that, I do recall a silver frame one. Found the link! |
Looks decent and thanks for the links :P
I'm just having a hard time appreciating the gold highlights that Strike Freedom has offered. That's why I haven't bought that kit. |

Here's the pic of my SF that I posted here long ago ;). Spoiler for It's been a long time.:

I got a question for you guys. I'm looking to start making Gundam Models. What would be easy to start as a beginner?
|
Quote:
My recommendation would be HG kits from Gundam AGE line like HG AGE-1 Normal and many of its alternate forms. They're new, simple, and looks good. ;) Spoiler for for example:

One word of advice, don't buy in our country. :heh: |

Plus checking out online reviews will greatly help when your initial budget is tight. |

building the newer gunpla models really isnt difficult in most cases. its kind of like building with legos, you just need to cut off the pieces from the runners first^^ the 1/144 scale high grade models are a good place to start though if you want to start with something less complicated. kits that i simply cant recommend for beginners are the MG unicorn/banshee and MG sinanju and the real grade line. these kits have tons of tiny pieces so you might want to build some other kits before you get those^^ |
Thanks for the advice guys. All I need to do now is too save up for one.
Will probably start with the HG Age models. The anime doesn't really appeal to me but the Suits look good. Then go for Gundam Wing ones. Main problem now is where to buy here in the Philippines. |

also starting on the MG 007/G also...
http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o...ga83/007g1.jpg didn't fancy the lighting gimmick, so paint the clear parts for the buster sword II http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o...ga83/007g0.jpg http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o...iga83/007g.jpg |

I'm not a great fan of the anime but AGE models are quite cool because of their simplistic look and excellent posability. |
