i'm sorry.. maybe i'm being a little harsh on the criticism, but i just don't get the premise for your webcomic.

even something as poorly drawn as http://www.qwantz.com has a premise.

two characters who are caught in the same comic frames, yet are able to have meaningful and thought-provoking dialogue. they're also dinosaurs!

also, if you plan on making a webcomic about zombies, give http://www.elsiehooper.com a read. its dark, its brooding, it has zombies, guns and violence. its one of my favs :P

I'm sorry I'm sorry it really wasn't that sturdy in the first place because I made some of these comics as inside jokes to diehard vintage-Dawn of the Dead fans. See I'll explain the one I use in my signature, you see in the original Dawn of the Dead Steve, when he died, for some reason even as a zombie lugged around his .357 revolver on his finger, and also there was a somewhat of a joke in the movie when a zombie stole Roger's M16 from him while he tried to lock a door and the funny part was in the background through out the movie the zombie still lugged around the M16 and the zombie in my comic died, became a zombie, and went back to get his m16, making fun of the movie. There i said it -_-'

Think of my cartoon as a cheap pilot episode.

In all honesty, drawing in MS Paint isn't necessarily impossible. You can even make it look decent, if you try for a while. Example:

Secondly, a background should be added. It's nice to be able to read a comic, but one needs to understand what's going on. I would never have guessed that you were in the mall until you specifically mentioned it in the comic. And even after that, it immediately left my mind.

Third, Add facial expressions on your characters. It can be funny if one character has a "Frozen Face"... at least, if you make a concious effort... like a running gag type of thing. But if everyone does, it takes the life right out of the comic.

Finally, but most importantly, is the storyline. What do you find funny? What's the plot of these characters? What's the main goal? Do you have conflict? What's your sense of humor?

Show us these things, and someone will get them. Maybe not all, but some will.

I, for one, wish for you to keep posting. I look forward to seeing how you will develope your skills in both storytelling and art in the future. :)

Thanks, but yeah I guess I should have told the story, but putting a background in a tiny comic is kinda hard lol Unless I make it bigger... Hmm anyways yea seriously if I had a scanner I could show my real skills I suck using a mouse to draw unless its really tiny then well.. even then look at my comic. But I guess my comic was more for Dawn of the Dead fans, I mean look at the title Dawn of the Harogenki heh... anyways I don't know who the mods are yet so...

Did you not want people's honest opinion about your avatar along with the idea of your webcomic when you posted? If not, why bother posting? If so, why the heck are you taking so much offense to most people disliking what you drew? We don't harass people because they are new, but only if that individual deserves it :D

You'll need to learn to cope with criticism better if you're going to post anything of yours online. Having read the premise of your parody... that really isn't funny. Try again though. I usually encourage people to be creative or rather, try to be creative.

Why is everyone reposting that NIGGA PLEASE thing over again over again? That picture is outgrowing its usefulness... but when in Rome...

premise - bon jovi declaring how much ass he kicks
foreshadow - someone will get their ass kick? will it be bon jovi?
shock value - a hairy ass
climax - foot to butt
denoument - victory, a sense of achievement from the ass kicking. a golden crown of asskickingness.
concession - "can there be a more kick ass crown" leads the reader to think that mayhaps there is a crown with more kickass infused in it.
finale - it is revealed that the crown is, in fact, the most ass kicking crown.
sex appeal - bon jovi in a wife beater, need i say more?

*note, i use bon jovi since that is the first name that pops to mind, but under closer inspection, it appears to be Lou Ferigno, and not bon jovi. i appologize for my error.

And anyways it wasnt supposed to make you die laughing, im not Matt Groening. :p oh and check out this cartoon, this ones not supposed to be funny just a heads up. This one really doesn't have a premise other than an idea sketch so to speak,

Well it's about time this thread was closed (seeing how even the originator requested to be closed / deleted). I left it open to see if it was going anywhere but it's just degenerated into nonsense. I was also undecided if it should be moved into the Fan Art forum, but at first sight I wasn't sure if I could in all honesty call it art :p

And I would like to remind people that you should not post images to insult, annoy or flame others, even as a joke (looks at Thany... even if you aren't sure what they mean). I'm only to happy to give out bans if I see this happening.
