Ha ha. The author stopped updating this forever ago to start writing a remake edition of it called 異世界迷子の危険な帰り道, which he also hasn't updated in a couple months.

This is a completely frozen project, so it's kinda hard to get pumped up knowning that it's gonna get stuck halfway in a pretty harsh "to be continued" point.

Back in the day Kitsune felt like one of the most original MCs in narou..... but right now, it feels like there is aplenty of guys with "that type"of cynism, ohh well....

I actually find it hard to find a MC that works on the same wavelengths as Kitsune. I mean, Kitsune gets stabbed and instead of trying to get treated, beat up the guy that stabbed him or whatever, his course of action is just to smile and be very creepy to freak out the person who did it. And it works because he's really good at being creepy.

Seriously, Kitsune is like borderline psychopath without actually crossing the line into being a psychopath. He's fun like that.

The remake seemed kinda of interesting, but it has a single complete arc and the second arc it looks like it's never gonna finish due to the update frequency, meh.

Shiori is cuter in the second series, so that's that.

Well, since this is a japanese webnovel about being transported to another world, I can guess the standard tropes will be there... but I've seen these tropes often enough that I start getting annoyed by them.

Anyway... what's the flavor-of-the-week for this series?
What makes this series so completely different from the uncountable other novel that float around?
