I actually don't remember how the Duel looks like from the show anymore. :heh:
Looks cool though. |
MG Duel looks awesome all over, from boaxrt up to the model itself, both versions. Now I'm even more anticipating for MG Aegis...
|
looks nice! hoping bandai will make a common frame like the wing suits and maybe there's a chance for a strike v2.0? :D

I wonder how similar Duel's runners to MG Age-1's "simplified" ones.

This survey was made 2010 if I'm not mistaken. I can't get why people take this survey by heart. I mean, it's an effing survey and so what if your FAVORITE isn't here? That doesn't make your favorite less awesome you know.

Noticed something wrong with this pix ?
http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/6...7926065028.jpg Yup. No more sliding gimmicks on the thighs of the legs. Proves the theory that Bandai is simplifing things and remove the non-essentials that the common people barely noticed right. For comparsion, here's how the thigh armour slided when the knee bended on the old MG Strike :- http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/9315/m6523.jpg But like I said before, who cares about that as long as the outer surface looks good and acceptable. |
While I did appreciate the sliding plate mechanisms, said mechanism has been nonexistent for MG's for the past couple of years (and many early MG's didn't have them either). However, if they can maintain the range of movement of the legs without the need for said plate moving, then there's no really reason for them to keep it.
|
Now I like the Duel even more! Shame about the thigh armor, but no biggie.
I keep looking at that colorscheme. It's well done by bandai. simple blue and white, with subtle (at least without the shroud) orange touches. |
That Duel does look more and more gorgeous every time there's new pics about it. I'm so gonna buy it. Love the simple color scheme and the un-overkill weapons.
|
it looks awesome but its a bummer that it doesnt have sliding panels.
but hey, the model looks great and the price is alright as well so who cares! and like Lowe said, MGs didnt have that feature for quite some time now. so its really not that much of a big deal. |

If the RG Gundam Mk. II still gets the sliding panels, adjustable leg joints and even debuts material tubing, whats left for the MG aside from scale?
|
see mg heavyarms, there is still sliding panels, just is hidden

AS I was lurking in our FB Group, I found this: http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u...th0103/108.jpg
Oh man, when is this? I figured that this pic was taken in year 2006? I can imagine the faces of those who hoped for this. |
