Seems like the previous report was a typo. I think the HCM-Pro Seravee will only be out in Feb.

The HCM Pro release of the GN Archer has a much more streamlined design after docking with Arios :-

But it's a pity that it cannot really transform.

Just want Arche in action :D

The more I look at Gadessa, the more it reminds me of Harry Ord. Just configure that color of that suit and we have a "Harry Ord MS-version" :)

ok thnx! but wats an air brush? isnt it same as spray paint?
and wats a finishing spray?

An airbrush is bit differnent then a spray paint because with spary paint you have what color is in the can and thats it. With an air brush you have a small motor/generator a hose and a gun. With the better quality airbrush kits you can change the amount of spray that comes out of the gun from a heavy to a light mist. You also have the option to mix and match your own paint to get colors and tones that would be extreamly impossible to get with just spray paint. The only real draw back with an air brush is that it will take you al ot longer to paint with because you have to change out the colors and clean the gun after each use so its gonna take a lot longer to paint things. IT does look far better though.

A finishing spray is a protective coating for the paint, kinda like wax for a car. There are different types of finishers you can get flat, semi gloss and gloss, i think it all really depends on the types of paint you use. For me im a flat person i dont like shinny kits.

Why is there a Gundam Face behind that GM Visor for the Archer ? :-

http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/3...4899144kd5.jpg

Perhaps the Archer was designed as a Gundam first before downgrading, then again Bandai isn't known for putting mechanic details into their HG 1/144 lines, so it could be them resusing parts to save on production cost.

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-01-08 22:02

I wouldn't put too much thought into it. It's just a design is all.

C.A. 2009-01-08 22:03

Well, being a prototype or single production unit, it deserves a face closer to a Gundam than a generic face. Especially since its a Gundam support part.

Spitfire 2009-01-08 22:15

Didn't the info from the HG kit mention it was originally supposed to be a 3rd Gen Gundam unit? If so, that would explain why it has a Gundam face; it would just be a remnant of what it was supposed to be.

The box profile for the GN-Archer reveals that the GN-Archer was originally designed to be a Third Generation Gundam, but was never completed. Then it got redesigned as a support unit for Arios, and was given a huge GN-Condenser instead of a GN-Drive. That's why its got a Gundam face.

LightningZERO 2009-01-08 22:50

Very nice. The hidden face even is the 3rd generation style

Now if Gadessa has its secret Gundam face, it would be nice

As already mentioned, the HG model kit manual does mention that the GN Archer was supposed to be a 3rd Gen Gundam that got remade into a support unit. Also, traditional High Grade Gundam faces are always composed of two parts with different colors, not a single colored block like this one does, and finally I've never seen another kit with a part like that, indicating that it's unique to the GN Archer.

Also, they do put mechanic details on their HG 1/144 lines, I just built myself a HGUC Nu and the inner detail on the ABS parts is incredible :heh:

The Gadessa seems to be the first A-Laws suit which has the A-Laws emblem somewhere on its box art...

Ypocaramel 2009-01-09 04:09

I seriously have a problem with the GN Archer's GM face. 00 designers haven't done the GM face very well - Alvaaron -_- - and the GN Archer is the hero's side, after all. Even the GN-X has a much more interesting head design.

duotiga 2009-01-09 04:28

GN Archer is more of like Seed's stargazer DSSD Astray where the face is covered with the helmet

Knight_SV 2009-01-09 05:05

a moveable upper body like 00:(....
no waist joint again then:mad:
i'm suspecting Cherudim also don't have waist joint.... man! what is actually they(bandai) thinking by dismissed waist joint in the second season 1/100 kit.... is they too much concern the HG kits it seems....

It's pretty much explain why HG00 is much cheaper than HGSEED or HGUC....the same also goes for MG I think...

HUUUH? much cheaper than HGSEED or HGUC? what nonsense you're talking about. And I'd buy ton of MG 00 Gundam line if the MG is cheaper (and like hell it'd have happened )
