Yes this si true but the A law version didnt felt kinda incomplete because they didnt have the stickers for a lot of parts that the ESF version has now.

Also, would anyone be able to suggest the closest red tamiya spray paint to use on astraea type f?
Probably like this one:

Sorry if the lacquer question is asked before, I know it eats away at any other kind of paint underneath, so I just want to make sure before I start doing the panel lines underneath. Thanks.

im 80% sure your best bet with a tamiya spray paint would be Mica Red (TS-39)

With spray paint you have to sand the models down etc right?

I dont sand it down or put on a primer and it comes out really nice, i should put on a top coat when im done but i dont and the white tends to turn color after some time. But yeah you can just spray right on the runner then touch up with some brush paint after you remove the nubs from the parts.

Is it just me or does the Cherudim look cooler in that color scheme?
My eyes may be deceiving me, but are there any mods on that cherudim besides its color and decals?

Which one?

This was my last built model, a year or 2 ago the MG Hi-Nu Gundam. I know its not perfect but this is how ive been doing my models for years. and today is such a nice day i decided to start painting my 1/100 scale Gundam Virtue. which you see in some of the pics.

and here is my MG Freedom and a better pic of my Virtue parts and how i paint them. Spray paint, hand paint, i do the lines with a really fine point pen then i add the decals.

MrCapcom 2009-01-29 21:49

thats nice so whats the best sprays to use? I'm getting the 00 1/100 and Red Astray 1/100 and maybe SD 00 or Freedom what spray paints should I buy? Links if possible I saw some gundam spray paint can't find them online though. I basically just want to make the kit look the best I can with out that much work. I do see dalong.net models mainly for astray and 00 look great with panel lining (some paint on red astray's sword) So i was planing on just panel lining and using gundam markers for the touch up parts.

i use Tamiya pants because they are made for models and wont eat away at the plastic over time. Its hard to choose what colors would work best with them online color charts because they are not accurate. If you have a local hobby store in your area they might just sell them or a form a paint meant for models.

http://www.imageanime.com/tamiyasupplies.html

for gundam blue you want to use Brilliant blue
for red, you can just use Red or mica Red (this one has some sparkle to it)

its best to start off with the normal colors red, white, blue, yellow, and for grey areas i like to use gunmetal its a really awesome color.

HWS is Heavy Weapon System, and is a CCA MSV.

For this to get its own HGUC though is an unusual decision...

duotiga 2009-01-30 07:42

Gonna get the HGUC Nu HWS :D

There is no such thing as a Hi-Nu HWS. What will be released is what you have mentioned.

Basically, it's a Full Armoured Nu.

What's so ununsual about Bandai re-releasing an old kit with addtional parts since they had done it with Verde Buster, Blu Duel and Avanlanche Exia before ?

And with this release, I believe the HGUC Hi-Nu will not be too far off.

And finally :-

Interestingly :-

duotiga 2009-01-30 07:53

Doesn't have a tie-in series or game, unlike with the other non-animated HGUC's they've done (like the GM Striker).

And as usual, HG 1/144 Boxart >>>>>> 1/100 Boxart :love::love:
