Should we not make exceptions for other thread dealing with Moe Tournament? Otherwise, how can we refer to result from other tournaments to analyze Saimoe?

EternalNite 2008-06-23 04:22

Yay! Nominations started!!! Wow this is going to be another fun Saimoe again!!!

I created an exception to that.

Thanks. Glad that you agreed.

Yeah, I looked through all the Xenoglossia nomination votes and then there was a helpful post at the bottom which effectively said "I wish I could vote these girls too, but I ran out of votes". Looking at everything, I saw that Yayoi (thank goodness her name was written in Hiragana not Kanji) wasn't nominated yet, so I had to get her in - she deserves a chance at this.

I think there were some 4 Horo/Nora nomination votes and a couple of Allison votes. Oh well, peace of mind indeed.

Now as for K Saimoe... oh wait, we have a K Saimoe thread. Gonna post over there.

Aaand posted.

lol i think i can guess already the fate of all Idolmaster's girls in this tournament although they're as cute and adorable as the other girls too.Anyway that doesn't mean we can just ignore them and leave them unnominated...they deserve a chance to participate too in this grand tournament :)

Psieye 2008-06-23 07:17

Just about everyone else was nominated. I think we missed Azusa and perhaps one other girl (go look for the 2ch post 2 posts above mine). It'll be interesting to see how they fare, since the Idolmaster game is a force to be reckoned with if its fans decide to overlook the fact the 26-ep series was a complete Alt-Universe spin off.

HAHAHAHAHA, 14 Horo nomination votes. Ummu, I'm gonna have to bite my teeth and just watch the rest of ef now, I've been wanting to see the Akyu cosplay in it anyway.

Ah, this is why I may have missed Yayoi votes - some people voted for the Live for You OVA not Xenoglossia. I see, I see.

Horo is love. :3

It seems a little odd that most just have 1 vote; unless I'm missing something, that's a lot of close calls...

Psieye 2008-06-23 10:59

1 vote is enough to get through to Prelims. It's called strategically spreading your forces to cover everyone.

KaneDragon 2008-06-23 11:00

But couldn't that one vote be a fake vote or something? And the coordination to avoid so many duplicates... Well, there *is* that two day period at the end for additional nominations to cover anybody missed, right?

Psieye 2008-06-23 11:03

I would assume that is its purpose, yes. And yes, fake/typo votes are probably why there's a catch-all at the end before the Prelims really start. Even if it's not fake votes, missed votes would also create the need for such a safety catch net. Coordination isn't as hard as one might think - you just look at the previous votes and vote accordingly - whether you want to reinforce votes just to be sure or to reach out for that girl everyone else didn't have space for.

Today's nomination is "カ" column.

Anybody know where I can romanize the Japanese characters?

You can divide them into some parts :|

Fanboyism can undo that, sadly.

She's plenty Moe in both, and if you put her in the right costumes in the L4U game, she is win.

Good choice at any rate, Psieye. And it's a win for the IdolM@ster girls at any rate ^^
