The novel art is really beatiful *O*
I'm very excited about this~ |
I've heard some good things about this series especially about it's similarities to Sherlock Holmes novels.

You can think this series's more like about Sherlock Holmes in lolita form and doctor Watson in young boy form. |
This series is definitely a ...different... take on Holmes and Watson. Victorique is Holmes with even fewer social graces and Kazuya is Watson, with confidence issues. It sounds harsh, and Victorique can quickly drive you crazy, but the mysteries are actually fairly innovative and both characters grow on you. Also, the LN's are gorgeously visual and, with some love from the studio, should transfer beautifully to animation. I'm really looking forward to this one. :D
|
So, what studio is everyone hoping for? I really want Madhouse, Production I.G, or ufotable on this one.
|
Smells like A-1 to me.
|
Heard nothing but good things about the novels so looking forward to this, hopefully it's Fall 2010.
|
The anime adaption of Gosick will be animated by Bones.
|
Any sort of announcement to back that up?
Nevermind, just saw that on MOON PHASE. We can be at least assured it's going to look good now ^^. |
It's in this month's Newtype.
|
BONES, you say? Color me surprised. Is this a first for them? I don't think I remember any other series by them like this one.
Also, if anyone's read the novels, what are they like? I'm a big fan of stuff like Agatha Christie's Poirot stories and Conan Doyle's Sherlock, so would I enjoy this? |
Awesome news about Bones animating this.
