Alright today, I was trying to get some music on my computer. I got bored..and I totally forgot about this. I absolutely forgot that Linkin Park used Gundam Models before...

http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/6402/lp010cd.th.jpghttp://img95.imageshack.us/img95/9114/lp027de.th.jpghttp://img101.imageshack.us/img101/9660/lp038rk.th.jpghttp://img101.imageshack.us/img101/717/lp049zk.th.jpg

Anyways guys, back on topic. I have a question, were you guys ALWAYS that good at touching up your models? I mean, I've done about 6 of them, and mine are pretty crummy looking.

This is the one I did about a month ago...it only has it's basic coat of paint. Since I don't have gold...or a fine brush, couldn't paint the sword. Go ahead...laugh. :(

Lookie lookie. I've no idea why you would want them though...

SK1 and 2 seems to be the NG's - it says "over 70 pieces" and such, but they are clearly NG's from the pictures. 3 is GS-HG Duel and Strike plus the old 0080 kits and 4 is Justice and Freedom HG.

Limited production run.

Plus, by stripping it down, you can give Akatsuki a paintjob that seems more Cagalli-esque...I'm going to be doing this scheme down the road at some point.

Akatsuki Rouge

Got that from Gundam Evolution. I might do a Strike-scheme for the Shiranui (for Neo)and do a second Oowashi with the Rouge scheme for Cagalli, as well as their gold counterparts.

You have to have green eyes, it's not Rouge without the green eyes!

you cann't mass produce the resin kits compared to injection kits...
due to the nature resin kits can be made limited numbers before the mouldings become unuseable... hence why the resin/garage kits are expensive

unless you find the recast that is. (And I won't get into the debate of the recasting though) :p

The reasons the others have mentioned plus resin kits are the most absolutely high quality you can get. You can't get any more detailed than a resin kit.

Yeah, I noticed that when I first saw the picture, but I didn't feel like loading Photoshop to tweak the pic and then reupload it. The model will have green eyes.

As for wanting those NG's, I had been looking for the Freedom, as well as wanting to get some to test some stuff out on. I had seen those Level 2 kits on the site before, but I figued they were HG's. Still, out of 3 Toys R Us stores, which I tried to hit up every 2 weeks or so, they NEVER had them. The Gamestop I went to and got a few (SEVERELY OVERPRICED) Endless Waltz HG's had a few SEED 1/100's like the Freedom and oneof the Strike's, but they never had anything below a 1/100 HG...and sold them for 50 bucks...

wounderin if some1 can help me out
i remember seein a 1/60 Wing Gundam Zero Custom in black
if anyone has a pic of this suit can they post or msg me a link to it pls

theOtherGuy 2006-04-16 01:56

I don't remember seeing a 1/60 Scale, but the 1/100 Scale:

Hey, have any of you guys ordered from Rainbow Ten?

OmegaZEROCustom 2006-04-16 02:52

I have ordered from them 3 times now, as well as placing preorders for future Gundams in my last order. Every time I have had nothing but good experiences with them. In my latest order, I preordered the 1/100 IJ and Legend and the 1/144 HG Strike Noir, as well as a few other items. I asked if they would ship each item as it became availible, but hold the Legend and Strike Nior so they can ship together. So far, my in stock stuff shipped, and my preorders are holding.

I hate their order system since I like a normal shopping cart system, but it's one minor problem with an overall great site.

Akyra 2006-04-16 04:56

Is it confirmed anywhere that the first release 1/100 IJs and Legends will come with a stand?

The_Marshal_AEB 2006-04-16 08:15

1st production or run of Legend and IJ will have the stand just like SF and Destiny ...

Hmmm...can you actually get the G-parts thing somewhere? Or are the the ones that came with the Dengeki mags?

Now i need to go pre-order those IJ and Legend. Waiting for them to come in at Aust = 6 months delay!:heh:

The_Marshal_AEB 2006-04-16 11:44

You can get the parts from both mag and/or seller, where it might popup at ebay or any other online store and you can go back in pages to check some answers on this question :D

DarkWarrior 2006-04-16 11:51

Personally, I want to see how the actual I-Justice model is before buying it. I'm honestly not impressed with what I've seen so far, especially the oversized boomerang on the shield. But then again, if I don't preorder, I probably won't be able to get a first edition that comes with the stand. Ah, decisions decisions.. :heh:

Oh and Rainbowten is awesome. Their customer service is top notch, and the 20% off all Bandai models doesn't hurt either. :)

theOtherGuy 2006-04-16 12:58

Yeah, so far, when I compare prices. They're $2 less than HLJ. :D
