Hi and welcome to the forums to me! hehe. I just started in this and I ran into a problem...

I started to build a 1/100 sword impulse and i broke the ball to connect the leg to it. I started by trying to glue it back but it wouldnt stay.. Tried to putty it up, not any better, tried to meld the plastic to screw a small metal round hook, didnt hold...

Could you guys, gods of scratchbuilding help me on this matter because i'm running out of ideas!! My last try might be to use a small round metal part and insert it somehow inside the crotch and use a screw that would go in there. What would you guys do? I will be waiting for some feedbacks before going for the surgery!

Thanks a lot guys. I'll post some pics after its repaired!

Yeah, it was me who posted it a page or two ago, though I was kinda ignored anyway, lol. I'm pretty sure it uses MG Freedom as its base.

I can only make out few things:

1. DRAGOON launch.
2. Newtype Flash + WRYYYYY
3. ????
4. Profit!

Awesome conversion there, those guys must have used the CORE-WOrKS stuff or something.

I can't wait! These are really coming out? Especially the crossbone! Whats the difference betweeen the crossbone x-1 and the x-1 kai again?

LightningZERO 2006-07-21 13:05

X-1 Kai has some sort of screw whip. But other than that, they looks the same

AirMaster 2006-07-21 13:28

Wow, that's great news (MG X-1). I just hope they'll do a MG X-2 :D

Hello folks, model noobie here. I am planning to buy Infinite Justice and Strike Freedom; however, is Cosmic Region or MISA better or else? And where can I get them with cheaper price.:heh:

You might want to start out with easier models if you didn't even buy and made a single gunpla. I started with an HG 1/144 Red Frame and it was pretty easy, but not as easy as HG 1/100 ZAKU Phantom.

Still, it's your decision if you want to buy and build SF and IJ as your first models.

And if you want anyone to answer, mind stating what city you're at? Makes it a whole lot easier for the people to answer.

Holy crap! MG 1/100 Crossbone X-1... my dream came true. O_O

Sorry, but what is Gunpla? I have bought 1/100 Aegis, MG Strike Rouge, 1/144 HG SF annd IJ and it was pretty easy. Is it not Cosmic Region or MSIA pre-built? I live in California U.S.A.

Gunpla is gundam models. I suppose it's an official name for gundam models strictly, but I'm not sure.

And I can't help you since I live about 3000 kilometres away from you:heh: . Perhaps there's someone here who can.

[DarkazurESky] 2006-07-21 23:31

Is it not Cosmic Region or MSIA pre-built? And has extreme precision more than MG?

Shinji103 2006-07-21 23:35

Yes, "Gunpla" is strictly Gundam models. Gundam Plamo. And the term "Plamo" comes from Japan's nickname for plastic models.

MSiAs are more or less, action figures or toys but... are CR's any good?
