How long I’d been here, I couldn’t quite recall. From this sorry situation, I as always raised my eyes to the sky; a sky in which the great, massive sun was clad in levity. Sunlight poured gently upon all. What a blessing it would have been for the world if only the skies could remain clear. For tomorrow too, and for all days to come, I was to continue to pray for calm. To endure for those who cried, with desperation I remained in prayer.

And then, one freezing, forlorn, soulless, stagnant, drizzly day we died. Or so I thought…

Did you even get to read his work though?

wuhugm 2016-04-13 03:45

^Nope... Not my cup of tea... is there romance though?

soularc55 2016-04-13 03:48

Hentaiga, there is no love on the battlefield. The only romance is the love for food and happiness. Read it, seriously.

Gomen yo~ For novel I only read those with romance~

Anime, movie, etc existence of romance doesn't matter as long as it's epic, because watching doesn't require much brain power so whatever. But novel requires effort and imagination so romance is the lowest requirement~

^ Well yeah, can't but agree with you.

The poll is funny. Poor Tsukiyomi though, Amaterasu gets praised and she again just ignored.

But there is plenty of love after during the plundering~

Holly sh** I never saw that one before. You know what ? I was supposed to order my new shipment of books from japan a few days ago but I still have to do it. Now I'm happy I'm late, cause I'm definitely adding that to it. And I'm really excited about it too because the comments for it seems to indicate the same kind of level as the previous ones.
Thanks for notifying me about it btw :3.

Edit : BTW there's a third volume getting out the 05/30. So seems like this one is longer than his previous works.

Just to ask, who's Nanasawa?

Nanasawa Matari is the author of several gems (shinigami wo tabeta shoujo, yuusha aruiwa bakemono to yobareta shoujo), as well the author of this book.

I was referring more to how the OP said "Author is Nanasawa, nuff said." What is that supposed to imply?

soularc55 2016-04-16 13:54

Nanasawa is a very good writer. One of the best WN/LN authors you will know.

Fire Lord 626 2016-04-17 06:31

But not as good as Kazuma Kamachi?

Is that supposed to be a joke? Kazuma Kamachi is one of the worst author I've read from Japan... It baffle me how so many peoples around here think he's a good author. He writes things you like, but that's about it. Well, whatever, he's not the subject of this thread, so let's call it a day by saying it depends of taste so that no one get offended.

I'd say that's depend on the taste of reader, both author write genre so different from each others to the point that if 1 like an author and hate the other is nothing strage, ther are also those who enjoy both side's works but i'd obviously pick Kamachi should the questions be present.
@Zefyris: seriously, at least toned down a little, people could get offended by the way you use your words.

The point is, the genre they write and the main theme of their works is completely differents, it make no sense to compare them.

soularc55 2016-04-17 21:59

There's a certain line between how the work is presented and how the quality of the story goes. Genre has no part unless it's quality of the story fits with the uniformity and how it can fit. Also, Index has a theme...?
