*biri biri*

Electrifying tsundere in search of a worthy opponent. They go good together. We ought to get plenty biri biri once the third anime arc starts.

*biri biri biri*

The Flirting Railgun doujin has some really cute interaction between her and Touma. :)

THat is dangerous stuff :eyespin:

Ehhh~? Biri biri's in the title...
Let's add air heroine to Index's, lolicon to Stiyls, and Mr.Hero of Justice to Touma's then...

Mikoto-chin, kawaii yo, Mikoto-chin~ :kisskiss:
The main reason I got interested in the series in the first place! (Which left me with some regret later... orz )

Not gotten any appearance time lately, but I'm anticipating volume 3, her time to shine! (The only advantage to the cutting of volume 2...).
Also anticipating the next Railgun volume...

It was part of the request, and since I don't know the character, except the 5 minutes she has appeared so far, I thought why not. It's not that we're bonded to a solemn and inescapable formality anyway.

Hmm~, okay then. Doesn't hurt anyone after all.

Haven't touched the novels, but from what I have seen of the manga (both storylines) the best scenes are her interactions with Touma. I just love the inevitability of what happens when Touma ignores her sense of self-importance.

As for biri biri, it was the nickname Touma gave her before the memory loss, so I used it in jest in the thread request, never intending it to be used. But I guess it's a rather apt for Railgun-tan.

Be happy that Misaka Mikoto is still in the title. :p At least "Biri Biri" is used in-show. ;)

Haha, and make the title "To Aru Majutsu no Index - Character Discussion - Biri Biri" :heh:

I don't think the new Touma ever calls Mikoto "Biri Biri"...

Alas that would be a loss but would Mikoto notice it?

Toama would be like... Who is this girl?

Spoiler for Next meeting:

Which would probably be the worst thing coming out of the memory loss. I mean seriously riling her up with that nickname was pretty fun to watch.

Ah well, at least there's some expansion pack "Biri Biri" thrown in the Railgun manga.

Bathory Area 2008-11-29 20:40

Biribiri, , I mean Mikoto Misaka is also a very likeable character (there’s too much to like!). She had an almost Nao-like predatory aura to her in the beginning but her scene at the end of the episode showed a cute competitive side to her. She has good chemistry with Touma and a bloody fantastic character design.

elroid 2008-12-01 14:24

Apparently, in japan there are many people give her a name that suits her well - Thundere

Actually, isn't it Tsundere+Railgun? I've seen that around, but never "Thundere". In the first place, why would Japanese people use "Thunder"...

Kagedanji 2008-12-02 20:09

In Japan, use of English words is conisdered cool, even randomly mashing them together.

*looks at name* And maybe vice versa.

Utau 2008-12-03 23:39

haha, LMAO at that "Thundere" that's quite a good play on words.

:heh:

Huh~, though I doubt the Japanese actually use Thundere. Although it looks normal from the English side, it doesn't work in the Japanese side.

Thunder - サンダー
Tsundere - ツンデレ
Railgun - レールガン

Thundere would have to be... サンダーレ?! Thundaーre? Sounds like a Pokemon... Or some attack... Thunder Rayyy!! *200 damage*
On the other hand, ツンデレールガン fits perfectly. :heh:

Unless it falls under "English Engrish is cool" and use "Thundere" itself. But if they don't get "toradorable", that's probably a stretch. :p
