Ok, so at first I thought this was going to be a historical drama. Before I read Jeanne D'arc & Leonardo Da Vinci and saw that Stand(?) next to the guy on the poster. Is there a synopsis somewhere? Either way after his work on JJBA I've started to like Sugita so I'll watch just for him.

Nobunaga sure became very popular in anime lately...

How much of that also applies to the anime isn't clear. But it gives you some idea of where their thinking is going.

Going by the Synopsis..this is going to be weird.

I have to be the only Kawamori fan that does not see his stuff as "weird".

As for this, it is mecha, so I guess I have something to look forward to.

Well Macross is generally, relatively "sane," especially when compared to something like Aquarion :heh:.

Not sure if I'll follow this, though I do love mecha and that's a pretty nice all star cast. I wonder if there's going to be a love triangle?

Aquarion was quite sane too, trippy sometimes, but still managed to be sane.

Did you watch the same Aquarion as I did? The one where people have orgasms while piloting mecha?

Technically those weren't orgasms, the Aquarion stimulated the body's pleasure centers to merge the pilots' abilities and souls together (this replicating such sensation), there is a difference. So yes, we must have watched the same Aquarion.

Justifications aside, the mechs in Aquarion are literally powered by psychic group orgasms. If we get anything that ridiculous in Nobunaga: The Fool I'll die of happiness.

This is incorrect, Aquarion and Evol are powered by a giant source of thermonuclear magic called the Wings of The Sun which was originally used to help the photosynthesis of the Tree of Life; the orgasm sensation is just a side effect of souls resonating with one another.
I don't know, the set up makes it sound as though it will be quite dramatic and serious.

Well, the ridiculousness of the show will likely arise from such an absurd premise as as "Jeanne Kaguya d'Arc and Leonardo daVinci, of Planet Europe, go to Planet Japan and meet Nobunaga Oda" being treated with complete seriousness...

Oh, well, when you put it that way, it's not crazy at all.
