I am definitely looking forward to this. I enjoyed the manga a lot for the mindless action. Coco is interesting too.

Now this sounds awesome. I heard the manga is all kinds of moral repulsiveness. Plus White Fox is very well suited for stories with dark atmospheres.

MrTerrorist 2011-12-17 06:29

Hell yeah! I love Koko Hekmatyar and her band of bodyguards including Jonah the child soldier, the newest member of her group who Koko likes to hug alot *coughshotaconcough*.

Maybe they'll use the cats from the drama cd.

White Fox involvement make me interested, they nailed in with their last couple production.

Yu Ominae 2011-12-17 09:52

So looking forward to this!

Now if I can only remember if the drama CD preview in the official site's gone or not...

Guardian Enzo 2011-12-17 12:27

Wow!

This is very, very dark material - parts of it make Deadman Wonderland look like Tamayura. I can't think it's going to make the transition without some significant toning down.

Interesting premise (finally another one for next year) White Fox too. They've been building a name for themselves of late and a good one at that. Keeping a lookout for this one.

Unless they go the OVA route?
As this been confirmed as a TV show?

The staff and main cast revealed.

Damn its quite decent line-up tbh, and considering the manga will end soon, we might get full adaptation, that's as good that we can get.

Yu Ominae 2011-12-18 20:18

As expected for Jonah and Lehm's seiyus, but I wonder for Koko and Valmet since IIRC (Unless if I'm wrong), Marina Inoue was Koko and Ayumi Fujimura was Valmet in the Drama CDs I listened to.

Guardian Enzo 2011-12-18 20:25

Hmmm...

Cast seems fine, but I'm not a fan of Motomaga as a director, though he certainly has experience.

Westlo 2011-12-18 20:52

God dammit Iwasaki, break your damn slump.

Reckoner 2011-12-19 00:13

Staff for this is super strong. Source looks good. Studio White Fox. This just moved to my most anticipated show of next year that is not a sequel of something else.

Soconfused 2011-12-21 00:09

Interesting, I enjoyed the manga (what I read of it). I can't see this being very true to the manga though, seeing how fucked up it is at times. Might still give it a watch.

Yu Ominae 2011-12-21 02:54

Website for the anime is online.

Bonta Kun 2011-12-21 03:20

Well I for one am not watching this for the "main characters" so to speak, depending on who you count as them but for Lehm and Valmet.
They are by the far my favorite chracters of the series altho I do also like Koko as well along with the others.
But it's the gruff old smoking geezer and knife wielding chick that make the series for me:D

Can't wait to see the mayhem unleashed!

MrTerrorist 2011-12-29 06:16
