Ichimaru - hate or ... like?
 

So, I am just curious on making a test on if people likes him or not, I myself really like that guy, actually he's my favorite! Want to know why? I don't know :heh:
really... no reason, just like him ^^
btw, I prefer calling him Ichimaru than Gin, sounds cooler that way :P

how can you hate Gin?

He's one of my favorite villains...I would have to think of a few but hes definately up there, Hisoka is my favorite villain and character, period and Ichimaru has some of the same characteristics as him.

I don't like him neither do I hate him, what now?

hes cool, love him for his fight with hitsuagaya and fighting on par with the "genius" and his "once in 100 years ability" hrhr that was nice

It was funny what he said to him though, "Oh so you're serious about this huh?". Hitsugaya was going full out and Ichimaru dind't take him seriously until the end when he got on his nerves.

wow universal "likes" i'd have thought somebody would have disliked him by now

Gin is great, how many characters out there can have less than 5% screentime in the history of a series yet still exude the qualifications of such a high level threat...Even the small bits we've seen of his power leaves you salivating for more...I mean if he ever gets serious you feel like it's gonna be over...When he opens those eyes it's like, it's just "holy $hit!"

On a sad note, I'm usually a defender of some dubs, but Gin's VA totally kills the snide, evil-go-lucky persona he has...Such a miscast, it irritates me whenever I hear him talk in english...

Plus the kinda hillbillie accent he has.

But not just him, probably the only good dub VA's are Ichigo's and Chad's.

Not even that, like they totally wreck some of the lines, they killed the Zaraki fight. All his lines that made that fight absolutely awsome, just thrown out the window. They turned him from a fight loving guy, into an arrogant prick.

The country bumkin aspect of his persona is what made him so unassuming...I know some people hate the dub of Peacemaker Kurogane but one of those VA's would have done a good job for Gin with that southern accent...

Gin is easily one of the best characters in Bleach. The scene where he ruined Rukia's resolution and drove her crazy was awesome.

Are his eyes actually closed, or is that just one of them anime smiles

I belive its how he was born.

Everyone else has clearly defined eyes... Dont see why hed be the only direct asian eye influence...

Look at Brock from Pokemon. He has never opened his eyes (So it seems) there are quite a few more too

Maybe Aizen recruited them specifically because they eventually would be his greatest threats? Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer =)
