I have to say that Cherudim's decals are a bit distracting, namely on the shield bits.

With Cherudim's plain design I find those very appealing. The overall after assembling the bits looks quite cool, I think

I think the BB Sangokuden Meta Green would be a good choice. ^^

Light box itself is looking good from what I can make out so far. The only thing I have to say is stronger light as you mentioned. But keep in mind to find a lightbulb that has a temperature of around 5600k. Too low and it won't be as white as possible to get the studio photo look. On the contrary too high will give it too much of a cool blue tone.

Also I'd suggest resting your camera on something stationary if you don't have a tripod as I can see one of the pictures is resulting from shaky hands. I'll stop there as I don't wanna go overboard about photography unless requested.

As for the camera i only have the one on my iphone, but ill get a real one sooner or later...(i hope) I did take 2 years of photo in high school and one year in college almost 10 years ago now, so i forgot a lot of the terms and amost everything:confused:

I like the decals on the bits, they do add to the kit a lot, but theres something about Cherudims legs that dont look right to me. I think the plain white is to plain maybe it needs some color or armor added. (the Gundam it self the the quality of your kit) It looks pretty awesome though, lockon the 2nd was a sucky pilot but his gundam was awesome.

If only the feet and the backpack were painted in a different color.

Spoiler for banshee gunmetal foot:

I am just doing a feet color comparison for the unicorn banshee for my reference.

@vektar: I'm sure once you get back into the swing of thing's things will start to flood back from study days. Just need a little memory jog;)

@sir dearka: Some nics poses with some nice photos to boot. The only thing I can say is the nub marks left over from the runners. Maybe you should start thinking about sanding down nub marks for future gunplays? Makes it look so much cleaner. Though you don't have to as long as it pleases you. Just a friendly suggestion/encouragement if you want to climb the ladder of gunplay :)

@Crackerjack: You sure that's gunmetal in the third pic? Looks more like silver. Gunmetal should be darker than that. On a side note the paintjob looks rushed. Reminds me of my first attempts on painting when I used to get paint clogs and blobs with uneven layers *shudders* I take it you plan on doing a Unicorn yourself since you're gathering references.

Is that something you made? Sorry, but due to recent events, I'm kind of suspicious of people who just joined recently. No offense.

Either way, I like it! I think the color scheme is really cool.

I'm sure its a really rare incident here on AS lol

That guy, before he started posting pics in this thread, he was a spammer with nonsensical posts. He was really suspicious posting pics and claiming he built them.

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-04-27 01:52

What recent events? If I may ask...

Amber.Dawn 2009-04-27 01:57

Apparently, this guy tried to pass off the creations of others as his own.

kai00 claims he made some models and sells them, refer to this page: http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?p=2355686

JayCee 2009-04-27 02:16

Well I'm sure it doesn't have to come to this. But the easiest way to prove the work if need be is to write on a piece of paper animesuke followed by the member's username in the forum and place it next to the claimed model. Take the picture and post it here. Simplest method that a 5 year old can even do.

The drama runs from page 638 - 640. Pretty interesting turn of events.

JayCee 2009-04-27 02:22

Speaking of which Vixion sig on that gundam pic sounds familiar. I think he's on Dannychoo under Vixion and has his own blog no? If it is the same person of course

Kinda funny though, someone would go all the way and do that.

JayCee 2009-04-27 02:53

Usually people who do claim fake ownership are people who aren't confident with themselves and lack self esteem and wants some recognition so feign ownership to something that's not theirs. Yes it's annoying and not nice. But if anything it's quite pityful.

As I always say "Opportunities is not given on a silver platter. It's gained with your own hands"

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-04-27 03:02

I see what you're all talking about. That's pretty low to take credit for other peoples hard work.

Go figure it had to be Kai00, he's annoying...I trust he got the ban hammer?

JayCee 2009-04-27 03:06

Not quite. Mods weren't alerted of this. But situation was taken care of accordingly and matters are done and dealt with.
