it should be pretty simple. try the GN Archer or the O Raiser then, those are easy builds. but then cherudim, 00 Raiser and Reborns are quite easy too. :)

Both the cherudim and 00R are good choices to start with. 00R is two kits in one anyway so just more parts to deal with. Reborns is a bit higher up since the transformation mechanics, while not really complex, aren't suitable for a beginner to start with.

I started my hobby with a 1/100 NG Overflag lol...it was easy for me. With just nail clippers I completed the whole model. No panel lining as well XD

Pathis87 2009-12-24 15:16

My first kit was the 1:100 NG kyrios. Painted it with gundam marker and panel lined it afterwards. Now i am up to the lvl where i sand down everything, remove seamlines with surface primer from tamiya and prime + airbrush the kits.

Well you can start with the HG 1/144 0 Gundam ACD or the roll out version. It's the easiest to build kit from 00 line.Or maybe the Exia R2 or Sergei Tieren Taozi..:D

Yeah,HG 00 Gundam is easy to build. And an elegant model as well.

Though if you decided to get it,I suggest you get the most complete version, the HG 00 Raiser+GN Sword III.Some of us had to buy it multiple times.

Well, there is not much of a difference between HG models, althou some are easier and harder than others.Reborns is a bit on the complicated side, but really go for it anyways.

When it comes to gunpla or modeling in general, the only way to get better is by exoperience.Your going to make mistakes early on.

Hoo, my 2nd HG (and my last, novice here). It's ridiculously easy compared to my first, Strike Noir. No backpack and hard to make weapons.

BioRanger 2009-12-25 06:53

Exia R2 was my first model. Very good one.

SonicSP 2009-12-25 10:03

FG Exia was my first, around 2 years ago.But I wonder if that can even count since it takes 10 minutes to build.I guess my first would be HG Exia then.

HG 00 Gundam is one of he easiest one to build I believe. Its a fairly simple design and articulation is worth every penny.Though combine it 0 Raiser and it gets a bit complex.

I now know never to buy stuff during Christmas time.

Because I now got two RD 0 Gundams, and two RD GN-XIIIs. LOL.

Time to customize! Though I'm going to customize the ones I bought, not the ones I got for Christmas.

No, I'm not really referring to price of shipping, it's the fact that have two sets of the same figure.:heh:

hope this helps, i will do more poses once i construct the stand and the o-raiser, i think the reason why other modellers are limiting the poses is that every joint uses the GN condensor and can sometimes be a bit annoying (especially the shoulder condensor).

Hey thanks a lot. also did you prime the areas you painted? also is the brilliant blue a close match to the original blue? thanks and sorry for all the questions :p

See it's left hand ? Neat of Bandai to portrayed the under used Clawed Gauntlet which few had taken much noticed of.

Kelrys 2009-12-26 06:07

I wonder how good is the articulation of the MG GNX.

The fins are restricting the movements of the HG GNX.

StratoSpear 2009-12-26 06:48

I noticed several gaps on the binders(or fins). The binders might be movable in order to not restrict the GN-X's poseability.

Here's hoping it'll have the "open-up" gimmick for the head/face.

I know which you were refering to. I just stated that you mentioned i quote "I now know never to buy stuff during Christmas time" So i thought i would just add that extra comment about shipping that would eat you alive. lol.
