GN0010 Nosferatu 2010-10-01 18:46

Hey guys, I'm considering building a vacuum booth for painting model kits. Any thoughts on how to go about equipment, materials, etc.?

Also, sad to see another Gundam-related blog go. I think we'll have to rely on each other in threads such as this one to keep things going.

There is only 2 things I like from Gundam SEED, and the Meteor is one of them.

I would so buy that if I could.

What's the other?

Rising Dragon 2010-10-01 23:01

The Strike, IIRC.

GN0010 Nosferatu 2010-10-01 23:12

The Mobile Ginn.

It's sad day that NK died.

On a more cheerful note, I gotten my Hg Harute. I've been waiting for this for awhile.

My HG Zabanya box will probably gain dust now. Its not on my priority list, its even behind HG Astraea.

On a related topic: What's the quality of the HG 1/144 Over Flag, and do you recommend the HG 1/144 al-Saachez's AEU Enact Custom or the HG 1/144 al-Saachez's AEU Enact Custom Agrissa Type? I realize they're two years out-of-date, but I have the opportunity to get two of them; which are recommended?

I second that comment.

Anyways, avoid any HG Flag period, they tend to have problems and are very looses.

Enacts are suprisingly better. Which one is up to your choice really since the main difference is color though I think they may be some other smaller differences too. I think the 3 Enacts are PMC type, Ali Aggrisa type and the Demonstration Color type (Patrick's).

So pretty much any of the HG Enacts? I believe I remember a comment about the 1/100 Over Flag being really good; is it worth buying? Similarly, are any of the Aheads decent?

is kinda flimsy for 1/144 oveflag, same as HG 1/144 al-Saachez's AEU Enact Custom or the HG 1/144 al-Saachez's AEU Enact Custom Agrissa Type as they came frm the same mould, just different design/colour

They seem okay to me, the Aheads that is. But I know only the original one.

The best articulation is of course HG 00 Raiser and HG 00 Qan(T).

=========

Damnit, I dislike how HG Harute gave us clear blades. Damn you Bandai!!!! Be consistant!!!!

I can handle it cos I always like to color the clear Condensers anyways, but I'm sure some will be frustrated. In fact, I can already think of one guy in particular.

Prepare for super-nitpickyness:
Look at the front of the upper thigh armor, right near the hip joints.
On the HG model and the line art, that part is supposed to be extended a bit, to partially cover that joint, but here it's cut off flat. It's like they've just re-used a part from the upcoming 00 Raiser MG that was in development...
