Can you guys give me a quick review of the MG Wing Gundam (TV)??

Got it the day it came out (first gundam I ever laid eyes on, thanks to my dad ^^)

Great kit, only a few areas where you need minor touch ups

Most of the pieces fit very well together, there are 1 or 2 loose pieces on mine which were easily fixed with superglue

The shield can be a bit annoying sometimes but a little fiddling and its all good

Everything is held well, especially the rifle due to the "claws" on the forearm locking it in

As for transformation all you need to do is do it once to remember and get it down, I have not built other transforming MG kits so I cant say how well it is but from what I heard its alot better than Zeta and D+ say due to its simplistic nature

This Christmas is going to be glorious: I just picked up the MG Nu Gundam Ver Ka :D From what I've seen of it so far, it's a highly detailed model that puts even the 00 line of MGs to shame and has a sick inner frame, but it's got loose funnels and the manipulators cannot seem to hold the weapons steady. The funnels won't be a problem if I keep them posed on that special stand, and it sounds like I can position the hands so that the beam rifle is steady...

Simple fix on the manipulators.. just put some glue in the pc socket, let it stand for a couple of secends and then start moving it.. This will create friction so that it stiffens the joint. I am disappointed on the funnels.. I can see why they did it that way, just so you can lower or raise on how you wanted the funnels. But they should of made the groove deeper or rather make them snap together tighter.

By the way my MG Nu Gundam Ver.Ka just came into day.

Tallgeese master grade box art just showed up on Gundamguy, for those interested.

Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread)

You bet I am! :D

Awesome illustration is awesome. Taking the battle at Antarctica (or is it Arctic?) for the box art is a good decision. My MG Heavyarms is ready to be posed opposing it.

Of all the recent Master Grade boxarts this decade, that has got to be the most badass I've ever seen

duotiga 2012-12-21 09:38

I'm sold by the boxart too =x

suiton629 2012-12-21 10:33

I like that whole pencil style look.
CG box arts are nice but there's something really amazing about this new box art for MG
TALLGEESE EW.

I know it will still happen, but I'm starting to really wonder.

The way that Glory is going and the fact we see Wing Gundam in Tallgeese's boxart despite it being Antartica really does leave me wondering how they are going to get Heavyarms into that fight.

Boxart is amazing though. Easily the best Wing has had outside of Epyon EW.

I just hope that we get a remastered version of the Wing EW and Wing Zero EW in MG for Glory of the Defeated...

In the mean time, I am in the process of looking at getting MG Wing Gundam (TV) and then I hope we get MG Wing Gundam Zero (TV)...

I haven’t read the later chapters of Glory of Losers for a while now, but in the anime, aren’t both Wing and Heavyarms indeed in Antarctica? Heavyarms (Heero) is having a duel with Tallgeese while Wing (Trowa) is acting as a lookout for incoming OZ army. Does the manga took different approach?

Appel 2012-12-21 15:10

Not bad! Not a huge fan of that suit but the boxart does look awesome!

First major story change occured so I will put it in a spoiler just encase given this isn't the thread for it.

Spoiler:

Last I will bring it up though, badass boxart is badass. Not only that but if they can do that for TG1, TG2 could be even more glorious. I truly can't wait to get all 3 lined up together.

Glue, putty, screws and brasspipes!

Assess the damage and repair it as you see fit honestly, it's a learning process, can you glue it into a fixed position? good. If not, a drill, brasspipe and putty can do wonders.

MG Hi Nu gundam? I mentioned this might happen in my short review.

Looks difficult to fix

So I just got a HGUC Sazabi as a Christmas present. I read around on the Internet somewhere that Prime92 used the runners to use as "stands" to have the Sazabi's funnels launch from its pods but I can't seem to find that video. Did it get deleted, or does someone have the link to the particular video for that? Thanks!

Its one of her really old vids

Basically what she did was cut away segments from the clear yellow trees (in particular the curved parts on the corners) and trimmed the ends down so they were pegs that fitted into the ends of the funnels and the pack

On another topic it seems the Bandai effed up with the HGUC Rozen Zulu, the dark purple is way too friggin dark =_____=
