Easily one of the best novels that alphapolis managed to pick up (along with Tsuyokute New Saga), just like Tsuyokute, you can't tell how great it is until the world building and characters traits are worked on a little bit more on the later volumes.

..... Now, if we could only get a Magotte mama ending, everything would be nice with the world, woe is me.

edit : The covers from vol 1 & 2, I can only find them small sized in everyplace I look at, but the rest are in a size you should actually care, courtesy of amazon.

^I've been following the manga for the past year, so when I saw this get updated in NU, I immediately decided to make a thread for it when I saw there is none :heh:. Btw, I agree that this is one of the best alphapolis story I've seen.

Did he strike the king or some royal in vol 6 and become a king/royal in vol 7?

I also followed the manga but the release is slow and thankfully, the webnovel is being translated.

Having only read the manga, I like the extra details from the novel, like how the Cornelius family used forceful means to officiate their wedding, or how the training was to ensure Bard's soul still remains intact over the other 2.

Does the novel ever state how the 3 souls live together within Bard's body? Like, are they symbiotic with each other, or does each of them control the body depending on the mood?

Nah, Sanai and Masaharu both sort of agree that their own lives are already over that this one belongs to Balud's. They do, sometimes, take over when their emotions run out of control (like Masaharu on the shampoo issue, or the bathing in money stuff (which always gets caught red-handed :heh: )).

All three of them agree that Sanai is the one that must fight when it looks really bad.

Masaharu's and Sanai's preferences influenced Balud's preferences as well, so sometimes the reader doesn't get that it's Balud acting like them instead of them taking over the body. Throughout most of the series, Balud almost never gives up on being the pilot, at least that's how I remember it.
