I think this has an interesting premise so far as we first meet protagonist Derrida. An interesting question is about "what's the key to time travel?"

The most mysterious character is definitely Mage so far. So many questions right now but it's just the first episode so hopefully more will be answered. I see Derrida and his father has a rather tense relationship though so I'm more curious if the show will explore more of that.

Seems like a nice setup for the season!

From these three episodes, we got a more info about the story but Mage is still shrouded by mystery.

Derrida's character intention seems to be bent on finding the truth, make a change, and also getting revenge. He also has some allies on his side now althoguh I wonder how much they can really trust him. (I know that Vidaux guy isn't interested in helping him get revenge) Seems the show will revisit the first episode's scenes quite often because the nature of the plot.

On the world building side, I'm somewhat impressed. It's a world that has advanced technology but not everything looked impressive to me, at least not yet. The machines introduced so far looked fairly generic for their designs.

Still an interesting plot though with the suspense building.

I think the first episode overall was solid and set up the premise well. Though I think it stumbled quite a bit near the end. Ok so Derrida just so happens to fall into a cryostatis facility, just so happens to lay down inside a cryo tube without realizing it, and just so happens to not be found by anyone (besides apparently Mage who also just so happened to find him to leave that locket behind) and then eventually wakes up. Wow that was all rather convenient.

Of course I'm also left wondering if everyone is crazy here. The corrupt businessman doesn't see any issue with a bunch of military automatons going haywire? Even if he's greedy and selfish, doesn't he have any sense of self-preservation? Does he actually survive the robots going crazy?

And there's a lot of discussion on whether time travel is possible, but not whether it's a good idea or not. Maybe I've seen too much Steins;Gate. But doesn't the issue of time travel existing create just as much danger to the world as they know it as crazy robots? I mean sure in a Terminator situation turning to time travel since there isn't much choice seems fine. But Nathan was working on time travel before that point. If he thinks people are scummy in terms of the robot situation he should imagine what those kinds of monsters would do with a time machine.

Still, the episode was fine. It had some good moments sprinkled in and the main characters were pretty ok.

The CEO seems pretty stereotypical.
You know, for something so important, you'd think they would want to get on it right away instead put it off to go attend some birthday party.
Wasn't Mage 18 just before? Unless that was a fastforward, in which case what was the point?
Judging by the names of the characters, I'd say this anime takes place in france.

That car flip was an bit ridiculous. And the remainder of this episode is kind of weird as well.
How did Mage find Derrida? And does Derrida have sniper vision, that he would be able to see those robots in that city in the distance?

Wasn't Derrida just on an cliff and not in the city yet? And wow, he sure is arcobatic.
I'm sure there are special bullets to kill the DZs, but it's unfortunate that the show doesn't do an good job of showing off how threatening they are. Furthermore, it's strange that they stop trying to attack Derrida for an minute.
Andrei is portrayed as pretty goofy here. (Ah, I failed to realize that he was with his men when they tried to kill Derrida and Nathan)
Even though they introduced the key in the first episode, it seems a bit convenient that they have an way to stop the robot apocalypse. (Not that the robots seem to be much of an concern anyways)
What is Ange and why does take on the form of Mage when she was younger?
Is that assassin that Andrei hired an android or something? And also is it Mage? (Although that seems an bit unlikely due to things that are in the next episode)
I hope this isn't the main ending theme. (Spoilers: it is)

Why is the font used in the future so bizarre?
When she said "You should bring flowers to a grave" I half expected there to be an gun in them or something. But it seems her arm was simply bionic instead. What's more, I find it hard to believe that Vidaux could out outmaneuver fire from an helicopter.
I'm surprised that camera has survived an whole decade, especially considering it's the robot apocalypse.
They built this city during the war, but is that before or after the launch of the DZs? Furthermore, how are they ensuring that this city is safe from the robots?
What was Mage's parents thought process behind going aboard whilst leaving two little girls all by themselves?

What was the rumour about the tunnel? Also, it seems like an pretty bad idea to try to get around these robots. How do their batteries work, do they only have so long of an life or were they drained due to being in combat?
It's an bit convenient that Derrida has an hacked keycard, but more importantly it strikes me as odd that Rebuild hasn't nullified his card yet.
Nathan's password was a bit obvious. But I'm guess he was part of the team who knowingly went along with Rebuild's plan to rig the DZs in the first place, but he had a change of heart, but because he knew things might go awry he changed his password to something that only Derrida would think of.
What are you saying all of a sudden, Mayuka, first of all Yuri and Derrida didn't really know each other an decade ago. Secondly, they haven't spent a lot of time together in the present either. Not to mention that she's Mage's so Derrida should back off.
Again, how do people jump off of high places without them getting injured?
Lastly, why did the past change?
