I'm not a Dearka fans, But I'm a Big fan of Verde Buster (Previously Buster before the Verde Buster introduced):D... |
As an aside, I saw an article about the Entropa public art piece, and the author of the article referred to it as like an Airfix kit...
...while I first thought of a Gundam model kit! Funny how the mind works, eh. Oh, and I like how the Ahead comes with a pair of kill-bots - although as it happens, they are the only two pieces I've even cut from the frames yet! I must be slipping... |

Damn Fukuda for his Engrish. |
What? LOL
I didn't know that. It would have also been cooler if its called Kikuichimonji. While the ichimonji stroke is a horizontal straight slash, pointing to the quality of the blade, being able to slay in a single stroke. I didn't know Gerbera is the genus name for the sunflower, chrysanthemum family. Damned translations. |

Ah, judging from the pics, PG Astray's blade is still slightly curved. Damn... But I'd rather buy a PG Strike with PG Skygrasper beforehand. It means so much more to me as a fan of the first SEED ;) |
Quick question... Has anyone built the MG Turn A? I've been thinking about getting it for a while, but I already have the basic 1/100, and I wouldn't mind knowing if it's worth the purchase?

I was so satisfied with the model that I posted a review here last time: http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...postcount=5210 I think I sounded crazy back then, probably too happy with the figure. |

Seraphim looks really good with the bazooka
|
Quote:
"Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do you?!" That's a very cool "yo'-ass-is-grass"-pose Seraphim is pulling off there. I like Seraphim's slender legs very much, and they make his want factor all the more higher. |
The HCM Pro Seraphim isn't that good overall when you taken in the consieration that you need to put the head on and replace the shoulder cannon with arms to transform from Backpack mode to MS mode.
Let see if the HG fare better. |

so whats the main difference between HCM pro and Damashii?
|
HCM-Pro is basically already built model kits. Robot Damashii is an improvement over MSIA. The Damashii figures are built to be played with.

i'm not really like HCM-Pro though. Bandai seems more focus on releasing this and robot damashii now. I'm actually hate the color detail of both lines....
|
I like the detail, but there is just no enjoyment. The satisfaction that comes along with assembling and displaying the Gunpla is just too great to be taken away from such people like me. I like the Robot Damashii line for its quality, but only when Code Geass is considered. Gundam was always about assembling plastic kits to me.
|
HCM-Pro and MSiA/Robot Damashii is more intended for those who lazy on build gunpla... it is for people who is not a big fan on assembling plamo...
|
Not really. In some cases, there are no other alternatives. I bought the Code Geass Offshoot (Gawain's predecessor) ones just because there were no plastic kits for them like Burai Zero Custom or Gawain.
As for MSiA, the mobility and quality leaves much room for wishes. I never bought one and I'd never buy one). They are basically just your regular toys, so a kid can play battles with other kids. HCM Pro is a different story. But I don't like the size of the figures. |
Quote:
You hit the nail on the head there. I have a few MSiA figures from back before I got into the models, and they're just action figures. swappable hands, mediocre posability, and they always came with soft rubber/vinyl/plastic/whatever weapons and parts that are always bent in a warped shape that NEVER, EVER want to be bent back to normal. Last time I checked, Zeta's Hyper Mega Launcher didn't veer to the left 20 degrees... So yeah, unless you're buying them for a kid, not worth your time. |

But I can't justify myself to spend so much on a figure this small though...and I can't find it in my local shop too :D

Pretty cool
But what's that, um, words under the name? |
Attack use prototype variable form Mobile Suit.
|
I mean those 'autographs'
|
Quote:
It's the greek letter "Zeta" |
The other letters besides that are "VMSAWRS" which is the acronym for Zeta's waverider system (Which stands for Variable Mobile Suit and Wave Rider System).
|
Err..
Then, why S Gundam also have this acronym? http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h7.../s-vwsawrs.jpg taken from GFF 14 display stand |
Because it can also go Waverider.
