HG Seraphim is a joke when in regards to the hand cannons with those 2 gapping holes left from taking the hands off. Pretty much confirm my thoughts about it.

1/100 Seravee is quite surprisingly cheap at 3600 yen, which makes my earlier speculation off the charts. But there's a mention that the transformation of 1/100 Seraphim will need parts swapping once more.

Knight_SV 2009-01-22 02:43

huh, it look like the 1/100 cherudim didn't have waist joint....

LoweGear 2009-01-22 02:50

Spoiler for 1/100 Arios Gundam, HG 1/144 00 Raiser set, HG 1/144 Tieren All Region Type, and HG 1/144 Garazzo:

Even in prototype form, seems the finger blades are molded into the hands... now to wonder what color they'll eventually take.

Not clear transparent plastics for sure.

gummybear 2009-01-22 03:07

I hope they will come out with 1/100 Archer :D

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-01-22 03:46

Garazzos arms look a wee bit too long.

I would rather buy a HG Seravee and a HG Seraphim than the 1/100 Seravee with those silly holes in the shoulder canons.

Seriously, making an extra non-transformable backpack wasn’t too hard :uhoh:

Basically a repainted Taozi with a different gun.

LightningZERO 2009-01-22 08:43

Still no news for Arche Gundam and Masurao...

RAVNEN 2009-01-22 08:55

Perhaps Arche will get new upgrade considering it just been whack by Setsuna recently. That why Bandai does'nt release Arche yet or maybe there will be 1/144 Arche.I just hope there will be 1/100 Arche so I can set it up with 00 kit.:D

Does those pics say Seravee 1/100 come with Seraphim or seperately?

duotiga 2009-01-22 08:55

Sergie's custom in fact is

1/100 Seravee comes with Seraphim, but it's not fully transformable, needs part swapping to make a Seraphim Gundam

Bundled with Seravee, complete with that eyesore of a gapping hole on the Shoulder Cannon. Is it really that hard for Bandai to invest in a thin piece of plastic to cover them up ?

So who's up for purchasing the 1/100 Seravee even if Bandai doesn't choose to cover the holes.

Yeah, the shoulder cannon look odd with those hole.Maybe when the kit is release those hole would magically dissapeared.:D

I would buy 1/100 Seravee if i had the money, although the 1/144 version is great too.Look like there will no difference between 1/144 & 1/100 Seravee in regard of it feature.

Poor Sergei, he definitely deserves something better than this.

Scavenger 2009-01-22 10:22

1/100 Seraphim... Something doesn't look right about him. I think it's his arms.

Knight_SV 2009-01-22 10:30

i doubt that the reason making 1/100 didn't have waist joint is to make it closer to human body....

i'm thinking that Bandai might be make this decision so the 1/100 will not overshadowed their smaller counterparts sale perhaps

Nerroth 2009-01-22 11:28

I meant how the Gadessa's colour scheme looked in person... though I did appreciate the link!

Oh, and I'm guessing Bandai are assuming anyone getting the HG Seraphim would have the HG Seravee too - so maybe one can just swap one of the arms for a GN Cannon from the backpack you get with the Seravee instead?

(EDIT: Indeed, so long as you don't glue it in, you can pop off the top of the GN Cannon, and perhaps, depending on how the Seraphim's arms are done, you could place just the end piece onto it...)

vektar 2009-01-22 16:42

I think they will put a clear plastic piece over the hole or you can just put some green paper or cardboard to over it up.

Nerroth 2009-01-22 18:24

Would this be the thread for discussing potential conversion projects also, or mainly just for regular model kits/action figures?

I figure this thread is for ALL things Gunpla. MSIA, Kits, HCM-Pro. All of it, custom work, mods. Anything.

Hell, we should start posting reviews too.

Nerroth 2009-01-22 19:59

Cool.

I was wondering what might make for a good basis, should I decide one day to try and make a HG-scale equivalent of the Stargazer for the 00-verse.

I reckon that one could have a Voiture Lumiere system tied to a GN Drive - or maybe even a GN-T drive (once the VL was up and running, it could feed electricity into the Tau drive for conversion into GN particles) if no true GN drive was available.

But, I'm not sure what frame would be a good choice for such an alt-Stargazer...

(Or, for that matter, whether Throne-ish or Gadessa-ish suits could work as equivalents to the Phantom Pain unit seen in C.E. 73, or if it might be more interesting to work out a 00-verse take on the Strike Noir et al?)

Nerroth 2009-01-23 00:51

I'm not even sure where to start with that one...

...except to suggest that it miiiight be an idea to put that in a NSFW spoiler tag, perhaps.

MeesesGlokmah 2009-01-23 00:53

That's just wrong. Isn't it against the rules to post this kinda stuff, even if it is just robots?

gr3nd3l 2009-01-23 01:02

Lols on the Hentai gundam

jonli 2009-01-23 01:39

The trans-am models are too sexy.

I'm not sure whether even Ryusei will go that far lol.

But I think I really have to buy a GN-Archer to put on my shelves along with my Figma and Revoltech.
