exia r2- no 00-like legs for articulation? =(
And it seems that the r2 can be equipped with the 7 sword system

LordStrike 2009-04-02 08:12

i really hope we get 0 Gundam in 1/100 edition o.o

duotiga 2009-04-02 08:18

gonna get 2 hg 0 gundam then =X

Spitfire 2009-04-02 08:21

The blurb about the Arche mentions that its transformation is via part swapping.

My question is what transformation? Is it just referring to removing the escape unit? Ir is this something it didn't do in the series?

And I'm glad O Gundam comes with both the condenser and cone units.

The Archie was based on the Zweil Turbulence which did transform into a MA. IT coulda just carried on into the HG but they never showed it in the show.

LoweGear 2009-04-02 09:14

Kinda expecting the "transformation" to be that for the Escape Pod, since it does take a chunk of the Arche's chest along...

Bashfulz 2009-04-02 09:32

hohoho... 0 gundam =)

any idea of the gn drive gimmick on the exia?

beamknight87 2009-04-02 09:38

yes, I knew I could wait long enough to get that GN Sword III without having to purchase any version of the 00 Raiser which frankly, looks horrible. Exia FTW, best Gundam in the 00 series lol

Spitfire 2009-04-02 09:39

^You do realize that the GN Sword II with Exia R2 is not the same as the one 00 uses right?

beamknight87 2009-04-02 09:51

so what, I just wanted the new green edge blade. Never liked the 00 design and didn't feel all too enthusiastic to purchase a model I never wanted just for a weapon lol, this Exia R2 now changes things

I think it may be what we saw in episode 25 of the show, the flaps opening up as the drive produced that circular wave of particles?

LightningZERO 2009-04-02 11:12

I will probably buy R2 to recreate the final fight scene

atlans89 2009-04-02 13:13

Well, if Bandai continue using 00 to milk money, I wonder if they will release Seven Swords 00 like they did with Avalanche Exia.....
Look at the quality of the HG 00, I wonder what kind of quality a MG 00 serie will possess
Hope a MG Exia will be out this year

00 MG would probably have fingers which are movable, even greater detail, finer details added, weapons all included, GN Drive and head light up units, openable cockpit with Setsuna figure??

O Raiser would be the same in that its cockpit might be openable and it would have higher details, maybe even a Saji figure.

vektar 2009-04-02 16:31

im not one to buy 1/144 kits because i dont like the size, and i can pretty much get all the mobile suits i like in MG but i think ill get the Exia R2 just for the heck of it.

Sir Dearka 2009-04-02 16:42

I'd not buy a Mg 00, but Mg Exia.. sounds too tempting :)

Amber.Dawn 2009-04-02 17:15

Well, 1/144 are small, so you can have a lot, and a lot of cool suits are only in 1/144. Besides, they're cheap compared to MG. A LOT cheaper.

i wouldnt get the MG 00 if it doesnt have everything we've seen it do, cuz they would obv/ release one with everything.

plus 00 Mg's if ever would prolly have special editions like E.B.M. Destiny and F.B.M. S.F, wat would it be trans am?

Trans-Am Burst. :p Plug it into a socket and it lights up the entire room.

M_Flores 2009-04-02 18:23

I've been strictly MG ever since I moved out, but that 1/144 Trans-Am Raiser is too hard to pass up.
Already pre-ordered the bad boy last month :)

I was also thinking of getting a standard 1/144 HG OO Gundam, so I can display it kneeling down position with its arm missing and lacking a GN Drive, with its two GN Sword II's standing in the background (will probably use blu-tack) to replicate the final scene in the Trust You ED. I already have the colorful background covered.

that is true a lot of MS's you cant get in 100 scale but eh, not to many 144's that i want or care about, im mostly a UC fan so MG's are the way to go for me.

Here's a sample if you haven't seen it before.

vektar 2009-04-02 22:14

I was bored so i took some pics of how i have my models displayed now on the ceiling. I already posted my virtue a while back so i didnt do any more pics of that. My next addition will be the Chars Galgoog 2.0, i use tamiya spary paint to paint my models and i wasnt able to find the right shade of pink/light red to match the color its supposed to be so i just left it unpainted.

Yes, the HG 0 Gundam will come with both GN Particle Tank and GN Drive... but the image above is that of the Robot Damashii 0 Gundam :heh:

And it looks :love::love::love:

Tormenk 2009-04-02 23:58

Custom build Cherudium Saga.

sx3 2009-04-03 00:12

whoa thats gangster.

Question, when does the Robot Damashii 0 gundam come out? may? i know the HG is this june, i can't wait :D

Hamachi 2009-04-03 00:22

I was just browsing through some MG kits, and I realized there are a lot more variations of RX-78-2 than I expected!

If someone was to buy one, which one would you recommend?

Tormenk 2009-04-03 00:27

Retro factor and superb articulation - > Ver 2.0

Details and good articulation - Ver OYW

Lots of decals and stickers - Ver. Ka

Amber.Dawn 2009-04-03 00:38

What Tormenk said.

I've got the Ver. Ka, and it's awesome. But as long as you don't get the original version, you really can't go wrong.

I got the original 78 back when Gunpla was still being sold at toys 'r' us. Back then I thought it was awesome, but it's completely worthless compared to other MG's.

Cool that the Damashii 0 Gundam comes with the condenser pack and a GN Drive. I could use that GN Drive for some custom ideas.

Oh, and that custom SAGA model is epic to the second power.
