was looking around the internet and found this http://www1.discuss.com.hk/viewthrea...extra=page%3D1

pretty neat. but i was wondering where the two holders go?

Mr_Paper 2006-03-06 17:48

Between the legs. ^^;

They go under the piece that connects the hips to the waist.

Shinji103 2006-03-06 17:51

Dispensing any sick humor, that's pretty cool. :)

If I may the right leg should be turned toward outside. :D
Maybe cutting off and putting poly cap on top of thigh part should allow that...

also the waste should be twisted though won't be easy without major mod unless you want it fixed pose kit - in that case you can just patch up with epoxy putty and what not...

And the damaged area imho need more inner structure to be shown...

just my 2 cents - still good job!

A little behind in this thread, has anyone bought the HG Palace Athene kit and built it without paint or anything else? How does it looks with just bare plastic and stickers?

dj898 2006-03-08 17:37

check out www.dalong.net

believe he has the pre-assembly shot on now...

theOtherGuy 2006-03-08 22:19

Ok, we've seen alot of dalong's models. I know I can't make models nice or nice panel lines. But, aren't dalong's panel lines kind of weird looking?

Komataguri 2006-03-08 23:55

There is no Eureka Seven forum, or a topic for ES models...so..

one on the right is a Nirvash Spec2 model kit, one on the left is the TypeR606 Transmodel.

Because he or they or whatever uses marker like crazy "finish it as soon as posiable" thats why panels looks weird

I still didn't see how the Sazabi will finish but from this picture I can see that it'll be so damn great :D I love a clean gloss surface :D

Currently am working on the stand for my diorama where I added 1st layer clay to the wooden base and colored the water part with some gloss medium blue to put on it some silicon ...

About the Eureka sure the Transmodels looks better than the modelkits (I saw lot of compairsons before) and I think Ill get some Trans, dude I think you have lot of weird stuff on you're desktop :p

Advices for buying gundam model

I want to buy Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny model, so which version should I go for? 1/144 (HG) or 1/100 (no grade).

OmegaZEROCustom 2006-03-09 12:20

*Points at Gundam Model Discussion Thread* This should go there.

Anyway, IMO, it depends on how much detail you want without a lot of work. What I mean by that is that the 1/144HG's can look just as good if not better than a 1/100, but there are a lot of spots that need paint in order to be the proper color. The 1/100's don't fully have that problem, but, such as the 1/100 Freedom, the black areas of the wings are handled by stickers by default if you choose not to paint. Even with the 1/100's, you still can get places that are supposed to be colored but are not.

The advantage to the 1/144's is that there are far more designs that might be missing in 1/100 scale, like both the EA Druggie Trio and the Extended Trio. In 1/100 scale, only the Chaos is availible.

So, in the end, where am I going with this? Absolutly nowhere, since I try to collect both the 1/100's and the 1/144's. I'd say pick a design you want and check out Dalong.net and see the buildups of them and decide which you like better and which one has the amunt of work needed that you desire.

JanthraX^ 2006-03-09 13:15

Also depends on how much money you want to spend,

i find the 1/144 (HG), a bit to small for my taste and due to it being a abit small i find that it misses out out on some details,

which Gundam seed model is it that you want to buy?
im looking into buying one as i still dont have a Destiny model, i try to have at least 2 good models from Gundam shows i have watched and liked,
