Whoa, watching

Well, Fubuki reached lvl20! So much for major remodel expectations :heh:

The episode itself wasn't bad at all but... it really came out too late after everything done thus far. At this point, things would have been less awkward if Fubuki never had such progression in the middle of the series with the fifth fleet, so having such severe ups and downs over so many episodes is clunky.

Now things will be ugly next week... MI operation confirmed.

It is plain, she reached level 20, which is the 1st remodel level for most/all DDs.
The one Yuudachi got was lv 55.

So yeah as it was speculated in the EP 9 thread: Mutsuki and Yuudachi were on a far higher level than Fubuki when she joined them in EP 1, and they had far more Battles behind them than just 2.

The equipment though she got is her Kai Ni equipment. Besides, even at Kai Ni Fubuki's appearance doesn't change much, aside from another uniform.

Fubuki better put that third slot to good use.

If it wasn't for the fire director on her left hand, she would be a plain kai :heh:
Well, there were probably other little details like her boiler, but the most obvious change was supposed to be her uniform.
It is a bit weird that the anime staff forgot to apply kai ni changes on her uniform.

EDIT: this picture of my TL pretty much sums up our reactions to a...very "bizarre" scene in this episode :heh:

By the way, episode is available on CR and... the translator goofed up QUITE a bit.
Hiryuu says 隻眼 (sekigan, one eyed) but it got translated to "red eyes"... really? Especially that she was shown with BLUE eyes? *facepalm*

kai ni equipment on regular kai fubuki. lol.

I think it's a bit disappointing that they dragged this whole training process over two episodes.

If Hoppo makes a cameo appearance, it'll be right after everyone's been bullying her for hishimochi in the game.

Sigh.

I felt for Mitsuki here, what with her friends either dying or apparently having some sort of death wish.

Hoppo is part of AL operation, it's uncertain if AL Op will be in the anime. Then again, knowing Hoppo's tremendous popularity among fans, it's possible that she is a boss in MI anime version.

Am I the only one who thought that the marriage scene felt out of place? The rest was pretty good though.

No you are not, it was totally random and tbh the last I would have expected.

Aside from that,
is it just my imagination or does the Flagship Wo have one blue eye too much?
