I choose Chiyo from Azumanga Diaoh as well. So fun, so smart, so cute, so well behaved. She'd be the best little sister.

Yes, but the point is if she was my sister I couldn't go the girlfriend route, and that would sting because Tessa is pretty much perfect girlfriend material in my eyes.

2. she wasnt smarter than me (its embarasing when your little sister is smarter than you)

Yuzuyu (Aishiteru ze Baby) - she's much cuter than Kyon's sister, IMO :)

Michiru (AIR) - she might be a little brat to some people but I know that she's a very GOOD girl.

Kurosaki Asami (Mahoraba~Heartful Days~) - always cheerful & energetic. So naive & innocent. :)

Having never had a sibling, and having only one child myself, any opinions here are pure speculation. Chiyo-chan is obviously a good candidate, but I think I might prefer Haruka from Noein. She seems like such a good-natured, intelligent, and reliable girl.

I just realized both these girls are only-children themselves.

Edit: You know, just about any anime girl or woman could be my "little" sister. Of these, I'd pick Nakajima Youko from Junni Kokki.

Hina isn't too bad. She occasionally writes all over stuff with her crayons, but otherwise she's pretty considerate and usually ends up cleaning up whatever she wrote on anyway. Suiseiseki on the other hand can get to be a hassle.

Having just recently finnished R.O.D The TV, I'd love to have Anita King for a little sister. Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh is a given as well.

Since I am now older than her age in the anime, I would choose Racquell Casul from Scrapped Princess. Her spells would be of great help. Were I younger, I might go with Konoka or Nodoka from Negima. It would be interesting if I had Hanajima Saki from Fruits Basket as my younger sister. Honda Tohru would be good as well.

Heh - on the contrary, I count it a privilege to have two little sisters in real life. They're great. So, from my perspective, I would have to say "you must not have had the privilege of having siblings". :p This is why I have a hard time of coming up with something to answer for this thread though... guess I'll have to give it more thought.
