Impact (3rd) coming. Sequel-ish for Haruhi-chan. But with plot and stuff. Like if the universe from the Disappearance of Haruhi continued on without Kyon having jumped universes.

But not everything is normal in Yuki's little universe of normal.

HELL TO THE YEAH! I was just talking with my sister on how I had virtually zero hope of seeing more Haruhi animated and now we get this? It's not a proper sequel but at least it's something!

(btw who wants to bet that KyoAni isn't involved in this?)

Mixed feelings on this

On one hand this sounds cute, on the other hand I do want the rest of the novel verse animated.

Well at least I hope they get all the original seiyuu.

I want the novels adapted, not this. Damn you Kadokawa and Kyoani.

Not really sure what this has to do with Kyoani. I highly doubt they will be animating it.

Details are scant, but starting with a special message that showed up if you visited haruhi.tv on an Android device, plans to produce a Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan anime have been revealed.

Puyo’s Haruhi spin-off manga series starts off with a less aliens, ESPers and time travelers approach to the material, as an average girl Yuki tries to save her beleaguered literature club by recruiting Kyon.

ok...so we got haruhi spin-off instead of season 3? ok at least we got a haruhi, i take it....there is no detail on the studio, but i think (hope) it will be kyoani:D, they make all the existing haruhi show after all

You know, this MAY be a sign that Kadokawa may be doing something to keep the Haruhi franchise alive. However, signs point to another studio doing a Haruhi anime, most likely.

I can only imagine the fanrage if Kyoto Animation doesn't get to make any possible season 3.

Expecting Ordet since they did that Lucky Star spin-off and they're the closest one to KyoAni as you'll ever get(in the most smallest ways).

Can't wait for when the main series gets adapted by another studio and everyone loses their minds like in Little Busters.

I'm getting fidgety. Really hope it isn't KyoAni. That way we would have less complaints about some favorite popular franchises not being animated in a KyoAni thread. This will be the best start.

Well...there are some that say the one that will do it will most likely animation do and not the main studio,but there are other that say studio called ordet will do it...

Will it be a kyoani production? I don't want any other studios touching the franchise. Someone confirm it please.
