The boss battles in Agarest Zero are painful. Even though I can completely own the normal mobs. Any tips for the twin golem battle in G1? I stuck there...

Are you referring to the one with the 3 Mieshas? I can't remember exactly what i did since its been quite a while (i did just kill them on NG+ Extra though , a bit of a joke with some of the skills i get to keep :heh:) . I do recall it being rather tough first time through.

IIRC , you need to get rid of one Miesha at a time (ie: kill one per turn) or else they'll just heal and you are fucked. Build on SP (via item spam, buff spam, death spam , etc) on a character, unleash your combos then finish off with the EX attack. Repeat till all Mishas are dead. Then kill the golems.

EDIT : I AM ANNOYED.

Started with Battle Mage Sword/Daggers Sieg. Now at Max Affection and at end of Gen 1, i have the following options.
Str/Vit/Agi/Int/Luk
Leonis 1 (Linda) : A/A/B/B/C (Daggers)
Lenos 2 (Routier) : C/C/B/S/D (Fists)
Leonis 3 (Sayane) : C/B/B/A/S (Swords/Daggers).

Basically i already went with Linda on first playthrough and wanted to pick another ==. The only issue is that the other 2 options are just bleh. I want a battle-mage and the only one i can pick is Sayane which has C for STR (wanted B at minimum). Really hate the stat unpredictability of the system -_-;.

speaking of growths... I never get why in the first Agarest game, the majority about 90% of your party have very mediocre growth rates. They're pretty much all C's, with only a few exception have A's or B's and the vast minority with S.

Hum and thus I finally have it, I bought the limited edition of Agarest Zero.

The game itself is ... damn hard. Even more than the first one, I'm blocked where there are three hudward and one gurg, it's hell.

But if you played the first one, you have to play this one



The girls are nice too, my favorite is Alice but seems like she isn't one of the girl I can catch so I will say it's Sherunini or Apli.



Well, so far i'm not disappointed, a bit too hard but it's good to see that there are still games that can make me go mad.

I believe the sword bit was pretty obvious.
IIRC they even mentioned it in the opening cutscene and they even pasted leonhardt's portrait in the cutscene and zoomed in on the sword,

And thus I finished it ... I got the bad ending but still I unlocked the ending version of Shernini and ... Alice.



That was so damn great, holy, I will have to do the true ending to the two soon.

I hope Agarest 2 will be licenced too.
