This thread is for those of you with questions about the Little Busters anime, game, or manga. There are many questions that don't need a whole thread to discuss them. A simple practical answer straight from the anime or game without any speculation can solve these connundrums. If someone has such a question about Little Busters which can be solved by answering with facts from an official source, then please ask that question here.

Please don't post in this thread unless you are asking a question or answering one. Please remember that it only takes 1 person to answer a question. And don't speculate! You can only reply with cold, hard, mercilessly unforgivable facts. If you have to speculate, then please just tell the querrant that no answer is known, but here are some facts that might help him make up his own mind.

Make sure you use spoiler tags if your question is about the anime, manga, or any non-anime source. Untagged spoilers are risking a ban. There are two ways to create clearly marked spoiler tags, as shown in the following:

The easy way: By simply clicking on this icon which can be found in the Quick Reply or Reply to Thread template. This is how I create spoiler tags.
or
The macho way: By using those uber vB codes as shown in the following...

Spoiler Tag Example
Don't forget to use a title for the spoiler!
...becomes...
Spoiler for title:

Hope this is the right thread for my questions:
I've never played the game and want to avoid most spoilers.
-is there a true ending like with Clannad: TomoyaxNagisa?
-there a many male characters, so are there going to be more couples or is everything concerning romance centered around the main male lead?

Kirayuki 2012-10-06 17:20

- Yes, there is
- I would say 90-95% of the romance centered around the main male lead.

AyuAyu 2012-10-06 17:29

ah~ thank you so much!
are there any indications that they are aiming for the true ending?

*still pondering if i should ask which girl is involved in the true end...*
p-perhaps a little spoiler with a name, please... >__>

Will this mainly be about baseball? If it isn't, is the baseball arc long? I'm hoping it's random activities their group gets into.

Thank you for the answer btw.

We don't know yet, it depends on how the adaptation is going to go, we're probably looking at at least another few introduction type / common route episodes though.

Is this anime related with Angel beats? the op song is the same .

Free 2012-10-08 21:23

My Soul, Your Beats (Lia) is not the same as Little Busters (Rita).
The two titles have the same core staff, but are not related.
Spoiler for LBEX spoiler:

erneiz_hyde 2012-10-09 03:03

To be more specific, the main writer for Key and Angel Beats was Maeda Jun. Who also work as their composer and lyricist.

He took a break from writing after finishing LB (I think he mentioned that he spent all his imagination and energy writing it), though we know he worked on Angel Beats eventually.

Thanks for information everyone ....I thought the stuff is the same but i just need to confirm this . :D

If you guys would like to continue your discussion, please do so in the actual game thread. I feel like the Q&A has turned into something totally different.

Indeed. I deleted the whole tangent. As it says in the opening post:

The whole game debate ventured far too much into spoiler territory and wasn't even answering a question anymore. It was just game fans quibbling over end-game details. Not appropriate for this thread.

Also, to VN readers, I know some people have opinions about the game's handling of the romance, but please express opinions in the appropriate game thread, not here.

Divini 2012-10-14 04:53

I do have a question in regards to romance to VN'ers:

Based on what was seen so far, is the adaptation going to take the standard 'fusing every heroine's route to one main route divided into arcs with MC's true love interest in the end'?

Edit: (Since I'm sure every heroine had separate routes where each one was the main love interest)

Short answer: we don't know yet.
