Manga Chapter 210 Discussion [Spoilers]
 

Here is the raw version.
Basically it starts off with Ino as the cover...Hmmm odd? Then lee does his good guy thumbs up thing to show that he has it handled. Then it shows the start of the kimmaro battle with them running at each other.

Then we see a new panel at the hospital with the 5th hokage and the injuried Jounins. Then it shows gai falling to the ground. he is worried about lee not being there and is all teary eyed.
Then we see a freaky Gai face and he says something and Tsunade is clearly worried.

Back to the lee fight.
Lee throws some kicks and Kimmaro dodges. then there is a pannel that looks like lee is in pain from a move.
Another page of lee trying to land blows and failing. Then lee hits the ground and it shows a quiver from Kimmaro.

New page shows Lee stopping the fight and pulling out a bottle that appears to be alcohol. new page shows the effects on his face with kimmaro just getting what happens.
Now gai is talking on the new page and on the bottom of that page it shows lee waviering! It appears he is drunk!

Next page shows lee clearly drunk and gai really worried.
New page shows him in a pose. and kimmaro sees annoyed

Weird chapter. Lee going to do drunken style kung-fu or something? And i wonder if Lee really did leave the hospital without being fully healed, both Gai and Tsunade seems very worried.

Maybe he drank whatever it was to stop the pain in his body for awhile. I think now its a bit obvious that Tsunade didn't do any magial cure on him.

Damn i can't wait to read it translated.

he broke out of the hospital while he was injured to do one armed push-ups...of course he'd leave right AFTER a surgery

Did the surgury even happened yet? He seems like he's drinking something that probably releaves his pain and the fact that guy was crying something must be wrong with him.

Though why is Naruto unable to do anything? IIRC, all that happened was Kimi snuck behind Naruto about to attack when Lee interupted. I could be way off, I have bad memory. We got a freaky Sasuke and Naruto around, this Lee thing totaly suprised me.

Edit - to person above me.. I don't think anyone is saying surgery doesn't hurt, if that was your point. Lee doesn't really care about feeling pain too much...

Whats your point? I'm saying he might not even had the surgery yet. I wasn't saying that your body doesn't after surgery.

Most probably he did surgery but left immediately with a bottle of some special medicine to relieve his pain, that would explain why he appears to be drunk may be an effect from the drugs in the medicine.

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. We'll find out for sure when he read the translated version or when someone that reads Japanese kindly tell us whats going on ^^.

If Lee left before the surgery, this is retarded.

If Lee left after the surgery, this is a little bit less retarded.

After Gai imitating Bruce Lee, now it's Rock Lee imitating Jackie Chan with this reference to the movies Drunken Master I and II (this is only a hypothesis since we're not sure of anything yet).
