Kid or not he needs a really harsh kick in his ass, milf should've hit him harder.
Joe is back in track now, looking foward to this partnership. Ps. Damn I forgot about sachio, I doubt he is dead too. |
I wonder if the OP's visuals will change since all of it is reused animation or if this is really it. The song is awesome at least.
They're keeping the immigration theme from the first season. I see things haven't improved one bit. It looks like Joe is going to coach Chief. If that happens, it'll be an interesting change. |
Well that was early for Joe to be cleaned up kind of felt that it would of taken long for him
Chief is really easy going |
So Joe makes his comeback l and at least has kicked the drugs. The guilt is another story though. It also seems like he'll be taking up the role of coach this time around.

In boxing they're called trainers, professional boxing especially.

That little boy is still a prick. He's gonna get his ass handed to him later on.
Loved how the latino boxer is still inspired by Gearless Joe and glad to see a partnership form. |
Im ready for this, i didn't think it needed a new season but now im happy it got one now.
Im ready for trainer Joe :D |
I finally had a chance to watch the first two episodes and man was I floored. And, the OP, and ED songs are beautiful.
|
We are getting close to the true about the death of the old man, I think joe is blaming himself too much and that scene with sacchio is him overreacting, the old man looked already too sick and in his finals moments, so is joe fault he was sick?. The only thing I can think of is that joe left him and like sacchio said he never visited or something like that.
Its weird seeing joe as second but he is recovering in a good pace but I still want him back in the ring. |
We got through most of the fights already so I doubt this tournament will last much longer. That said, no way Chief is still going to be in top shape. I don't think they'll kill him off, but he will probably come out of it with burns that will hamper his ability to fight. Either way the landowners may get their wish of Gearless Joe entering the ring.
So it looks like Joe wasn't the first one to blame himself, it was actually Sachio. We may not know what happened, but I'd still chalk that up more to Sachio lashing out than actually blaming Joe. |
My guess as to what happened is that after Joe asked Nanbu to help him again, Nanbu overexerted himself resulting in his already failing health worsening and Joe was too busy training to visit him and be there during his final moments.
Chief has a very compelling backstory. I hope he'll have a good ending. As good an ending as you can get after you had to bury your own child. |
Well Joe is on the mend The Chief is doing well with his fights but those kids really need to get hit
|
Good wins by Chief, but those kids are really bad lowlifes. Someone needs to punish them and make them learn valuable lessons.
|
Spoiler for Episode 4:
|
Chief really pulled threw for his home and those people as well as Mio who remembered what he said to him
|
Chief's fate was pretty obvious by the time he and Joe were walking off, but there are worse ways to go out. He's with his son now and he even achieved his goal of helping the rest of the immigrants. Mio also realized what a brat he was being and now knows what's actually important. It's a nice send off for both of them.
|
As obvious was the death of chief to be honest I thought the car was going to explode or something like that because of the guys who lost.
In the end was just his body gave up but he save them and now joe will return to the ring with his gear. Great chapter. Quote:
