Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku (Oregairu Season 2)
 

Slightly anticipating the big announcement that was planned for April 18th, it's been confirmed that a second season of the anime "Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)" is currently in production.
The announcement for the series, which is also most commonly known to as Oregairu, appeared on an advertisement poster for the series’ publisher Gagaga Bunko.

Not too much has been revealed for the second season of Oregairu, including whether or not the animation studio Brains Base will return.

Seems like the voice actors for two new characters were announced with volume 10.

Isshiki Iroha: Ayane Sakura (Tsubaki - Shigatsu, Merry - Yumekui)
Orimoto Kaori: Haruka Tomatsu (Asuna - SAO, Shizuku - Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun)

Ha, they're back and not just the main leads but also this girl:


Animation feels a little different but overall tone still retains its atmospheric setting.

Okay episode, I think they jumped in way too fast and should've taken it slower especially with the reanimated segment of season 1 at the beginning. Covering 6 chapters of content right from the get-go is a bit overboard.

Maybe they want to get it to volume 10 or 10.5? either that or they'll be including 7.5 side stories in this as well.

We sure can count on Hikki with that global warming due to the rapid defrosting of the ice lady :heh: :heh: (is that why the current winter I'm living is hotter than the summer I just went through? :heh: )

Show has more sponsors than the previous series. Adaptation wise, I'm happier with this episode than I was with the first one of the previous series.

edit : Oh, I forgot, plenty of already known bgms.

Not really used to the new character design for this season. The budget and attention for details are much better than in S1, but for some reason, the trio facial expressions are off, especially Hachiman and Yukino's.
Hachiman looks more like a thug than your average bored guy, while Yukino looks 5 years older all of a sudden.

That aside, they did a good job with their follow up, so it didn't feel like it is 2 differents series.

Hachiman's new design makes him look older, same with Yukino.

The designs are terrible.

This thread needs to separate the posts before and after the show aired.
