Important note on sequence 9, if Amita gets to use her Full Drive Attack on you, her dialogue is different (up to including "Onee-chan beamu" in it)

Eventhough the dialogue is different from normal, it's still pretty much the same thing that she said that she hated her sister before the battle

......

I'm gonna replay that Sequence for as many times as it takes to hear those lines for E.O.D. This is gold! :D

About people asking, Touma and Isis breaks the training equipment very often due to their fighting abilities not being able to set to non-lethal. Thus, they are usually given a nice 'training' session for this act with Hayate, Nanoha and Vita and it is hinted that they got shot down everytime. Amusing as Nanoha and Fate were breaking equipment that quick as well but no one can call them out as they are the most powerful. Chrono can only facepalm so there.

Also, the guy feels that he is still a burden and wants to get stronger so he can repay the Section Six. However, it is good that he never get to recover his powers till the very end as if he uses the 'real' Divide Zero Eclipse, I think non of the cast will survive, seeing what happen in the comic when he did use the effect.

Definitely a fearsome trio.... (Nanoha Vita and Hayate)

Nanya01 2012-01-03 19:47

I still say they should just throw Caro at Hayate and let them duke it out. :D:p;)

Couldn't you break the equipment if you were fighting non-lethally, too? Maybe they're just clumsy.

Intersting replacement for the Second Ace(Fate) but still a very frightening combination, Vita's overpowered crushing attacks are ten times more threathening while backed up by Nanoha's multi-purpouse firepower and Hayate's nukes xD

To be fair to Tohma, the Strike Cannons aren't precisely the most durable weapons in the world xDU.

Keroko 2012-01-03 20:15

Non-lethal magic damage has a wider safety net.

But Thoma aside, it makes me even more intrigued at Isis' techniques. Even though that one promotional image showed her with a standard Mid circle, if she doesn't even have non-lethal magic she's hardly using standard Mid magic.

It isn't that hard to figure. Isis's magic is indeed Mid-styled but the "no non-lethal setting" comes with how she uses said magic, let's remember that her main gimmick is to combine very real chemicals to produce explosions and, as everybody knows, natural explosions can't be put on a "non-lethal" setting xDU.

Justin_Brett 2012-01-03 20:21

Oh, so both reasons, then.

Or, maybe she is, but she doesn't have the "stun" setting that everyone else does...

After all, it would disprove that theory about Mid magic being unable to kill.

Keroko 2012-01-03 20:26

If she's using standard Mid magic, she should have the stun setting since it's part of the standard. Plus, standard Mid doesn't use explosive chemicals. Kinda banned and all.

My main pondering comes from the question why she doesn't have any standard Mid magic if she uses Mid for her specialized magic...

Flawed Linker Core maybe?

bhl88 2012-01-03 20:28

@Aki: If they were all on the same team.... I'd run like crazy XD :heh:

It's plot and development.... so it's lethal XD (or the virus is spreading to other teammates, making them lethal XD)

Hmm, possible, but kind of a far-fetched theory without evidence.

Mirron 2012-01-03 20:31

I'm not saying he wouldn't step up to defend his friends. *shrugs* Feels like my intent is being misconstrued. Oh well, I wish he appeared more often. Same goes for Chrono. Shame that it's the fate of all males, even Erio is relatively minor, though he's been hit by it the least so far.

At least we have fanfiction and video games, right?

Key Board 2012-01-03 20:38

IIRC

In the ending, Vita says Thoma broke the equipment because it's set for magic base and apparently not very compatible with physical setting

The reason why Thoma did this is because he remembered fighting in a "strange dream" (GoD events) and wanted to try out what he learned during training. Isis offered to be his sparring partner, and that's why hers is wrecked too.
