Dubs until episode 12 are out....Wow. They just gave up. Replaced the fire mantra with banter. I don't know whether to applaud them for not making a mess of it or criticize them for not even trying. I bet the VA couldn't even say it.

I'd probably applaud them for at least trying, even if it came out badly, because replacing it with banter just seems lazy :uhoh:.

Not really banter. Baseball metaphor referring to the ogre trying to run away. "Rotor on first makes a break for second base, but can he make it or will he get tagged in the rundown?"

While they did replaced the fire mantra with banter in Ep 7 they didn't in Ep 8 when Kagami uses it on the Chimera.

Well, now that's just inconsistent :heh:.

Finished watching the rest of the dub today. Personally, I think Harutora's voice actor did a better job with the fire mantra than Kagami's voice actor.

My favorite line from the dub has to be one of Suzuka's.
