It is always possible that the Exia-line of MS is considered part of S1, even if that specific variation debuts in S2. I don't know much about licensing behind 00, but part of me doubt they were THAT specific with licensing that R2 is completely different MS from the original.

In all honesty though, bandai can make the plastic any colour they want. Trust me, it's very easy to run a single runner if you want.

Those new images of "more properly colored" Exia Dark Matter sold it to me. I think I'm going to pick up the MG when it arrives (pretty sure they're making one, even if it falls into P-Online Exclusive). Might need to make a bit more color adjustment (turning the dark grey into silver) to differentiate the colors a bit more, but its definitely looking VERY good.

Well, I finally finished the Destiny. Was able to fix the broken parts with some super glue. Although it looks very bland without the stickers:

Why no stickers? Going to be painting later?

I mentioned before that the stickers came with the glue dried so I couldn't use them. I'm thinking on painting, however I don't have the money right now.

Not at all. Recently, Bandai has been churning out these MGs like no tomorrow. I mean, really? MG Sengoku Astray? Which was heavily featured in all of two episodes? Yes, it showed up every now and then, but those were barely a minute long each.

As MG Exia R2 would like to remind us, the Exia line is pretty popular. And while I don't want to sound like SUITON, I do think there is a decent likelihood that MG Exia Dark Matter will be made, although part of that still hinges on how well they present it in the show.
