Dalong's Review of MG Zaku II v2.0 up.

And what's this I see... segmented fingers? O_O

And here's an example of what the thing can do:

lol I have to ask....you did not know that earlier? That was the first thing I looked for when Hobbysearch announced it, with the list of notables I had to see a Ver 2.0 have:

-Fingers like the Rick Dias (when Rick Dias came out, I wondered why the Zaku's later concoctions, with an identical hand size, did not have individually jointed fingers.)
-Knee bendability. The first Zaku models were atrocious :heh:
-Inner frame. Complete. :D
-Footjob. I have the PG Zaku, and it's feet really needed an improvement.
-Many parts for the weapons. Voila!

Can't wait for Dalong's review. I have to see the kneeling pose at all angles! :heh:

Lowe: segmented fingers aren't exactly new, IIRC the Rick Dias and some other MGs with rather large fingers have them. But this is the first time they applied this on a MG with rather standard-sized fingers.

EDIT: Damn, I'm late a little...now we shall wait for the later variants.

Honey_and_Cleaver 2007-04-18 09:28

So far im waiting for 1/100 scale gundam models. So far i havent seen yet.

Destiny Gundam with its pink flare booster.

Infinite Justice more flexible and able to do all its kicks like in the anime.

Someone on 4chan said that Shizuoka hobby show annouced that 100 th mg will be Turn-A. Anybody could confirm it?

kct 2007-04-18 10:00

There was a rumour of about it flying around before that. Until the actual show happens in May, take it as a baseless rumour.

Kasn 2007-04-18 10:04

Ok. Thx for anwser.

M_Flores 2007-04-18 10:11

If Turn A really is the 100th MG, then I will fukn buy that shit, no questions. Even if it contradicts everything I've said about the Turn A design.

That was actually my point when I commented on that... The Rick Dias had fat fingers, thus it's understandable they can implement that. But for a mecha with standard small hands like the Zaku II, segmented fingers truly is a quantum leap. I hope they implement the feature in future MG's.

And on the Turn A matter: Shizouka starts next month, so I doubt that report's credible (although ALOT of people would want to have A MG Turn A at any cost...)

Depending where your from; I use the finest grade paper that you can get the prices should be cheap per sheet, over here their usually priced around 1.00-2.00 a sheet. Also you can pick up some cheap nail files as well - just file along and not against the part, so as not to create a deep groove from over sanding!

All I can say is experiment with different gauge types (sandpaper) and find a technique that works for you.

Good luck

Dang, that is just...whatever.

The one in front (the old version) does not seem to be enjoying the lulz.

Grab the torrent on this link: http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...postcount=3948

It should help you along your way to sanding and painting kits.

Dalong's final score on the MG Zaku II v2.0, containing comparisons with older MG Zakus.

108 points?! O_O That's a ridiculously high score from Dalong!

lol if I had scored it, I'd give it a 200 :heh:

The fact that Zaku 1.0 is taller, less poseabe, and smaller weaponed shows how much this smaller, large weaponed 2.0 has gone :heh: :heh:

And, that's a nice colorful family of Zaku'ish guys :D
