First day of Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari sale, the single ranked 5th in Oricon chart. A bit disappointing, I thought it would get into top three, but that's probably due to the single being out of stock from most store.

I hope we don't end up waiting to long for a soundtrack release. Easily one of the best scores of the season.

love the ending song then saw the PV.

the pv is nice because it really express the lyric but somehow it feel funny to see about innocent love triangle story when you know that this is bakemonogatari theme song :heh:

i was hoping for the ending animation in the DVD, real-life PV feels really weird when the album is a tie-up of an anime... well, nevermind... the songs are good enough. And I really like LOVE & ROLL.

Exactly! One of the things I find really cool about Japan is how doujin artists can really make it big, be it games (Touhou, Cave Story), music (livetune, supercell), or of course art/manga (find your own examples).

If you haven't heard of supercell before this, they're best known for their viral Nico Vocaloid songs, including Melt, World is Mine, Love is War (Koi wa Sensou), Black Rock Shooter, and When the First Love Ends (Hajimete no Koi ga Owaru Toki). I was pretty excited when I heard they'd be doing the ED for this series.

... yeah anyway I love the ED song. Speaking of which, posted this in the general topic too, but I may as well put the links here, too. Found this off of Nico.

Actually although supercell is a unit, Ryo is the only member of the unit who made it big. All those songs you quoted are also Ryo's work, and so is this new song.

I'd like to point out though, that the singer for this song is Nagi aka Gazelle and is lady who got somewhat famous by singing her own renditions of Melt, Black Rock Shooter, etc.

Oh yeah, I know. Always been kinda unclear though... I think the artists who drew the illustrations for the PVs are also counted as part of the group (at least it appears so from the site), even if ryo is the only guy doing the music. And since nagi's sung this officially released single, I dunno, does she count as part of the group now?

30k for its first week is pretty damn nice. And much better than NICO Touches the Walls' Hologram's 11k, which goes to show how much the Sony Music & Doroku/Nichigo tie-ups have weakened.

Ain't nothing to be ashamed of if 1-4 are Hamasaki Ayumi, Morning Musume, B'z and Gackt.

Btw, any idea when the single for Staple Stable is coming out?

I assume it'll show up on Senjougahara's character CD, no idea when that's coming out though... =/
