I think the GOP welcome it. Because they probably understand economics more than Trump and furthermore, they can use the trade deficit excuse to cut social safety net programs.

really, trade deficit isn't necessarily a bad sign. Especially when you're dealing with a country whose economic growth is faster than you.

I'm disappointed that, as usual, the Canadian government just doesn't hve the guts to tell the US administration (especially this one) to go fuck themselves on the Jerusalem question. Instead of taking position, Canada chose to stay silent.
