I remember reading this would be a gainax production a little while ago.

edit: so the gainax president mentioned a BB gun survival game anime in this interview and this french website said gainax would be producing it.

Only one volume worth of manga's been published? Yeah, I hope they don't expect us to believe this is anything but an attempt to cash in on Girls und Panzers.

edited my post above but figure I might as well answer,gainax's president mentioned this anime way back in june,stuff is always in development before it gets a formal announcement (2 other animes that havn't been formally announced were mentioned in the same interview)
So this has got nothing to do with Girls und Panzers' success

Was gonna comment on how it looks like something fanmade you'd find on niconico (not that there aren't good fan made videos on nico!) but then I noticed it was from 2010 to promote the release of the first volume. It's definitely not the actual anime footage.

The issue I have with both of those series is kinda the same thing, so what I want is character interaction. Lots of it.

Agreed ... I really liked GuP but Upotte was frankly disappointing.

I really hope that the jazz isn't just for the trailer but will be in the actual show as well.

The visuals reminds me too much of Idolm@ster (not that it's a bad thing) so I have wondering if A-1 (though they were capable of animating something not produced by Aniplex) or Studio Trigger will animate it.
