Unless you were just too quick on the draw (while I was adding the "2009" in all the right places), this is the same way that we've been labeling all the episodes. So I think the title is fine, right?

For dramatic purpose, I think this way works as well.

It's just that we won't have the chance for other stories to come in. :eyespin:

Well, that was unexpected.

That I was.

On the plus side, we can look at things this way. Kadokawa have given us something fresh, that readers of the original novels wouldn't have expected, without significantly diverging from the source material.

I wasn't paying complete attention to the numbers Yuki was saying, but IIRC, she didn't say fifteen-thousand four hundred and ninety-eight. She gave a number above 10,000, but still not quite that high. The clue was there for any obsessive fans who were paying attention.

If that happens, Kyoani/Kadokawa's gotta receive presents of sorts, I'm sure of it.

She said 15497.

Hmmm, that's a clever one.
It was certainly 15,400 and something, but whether or not it was 98, I'm not entirely sure. We'll see when the subs come out, eh?

Edit: Tokkan got it.

I thought I did hear her say fifteen thousand something...

And that's a very strong hint for things to come.

Archaic 2009-06-25 11:49

Another plus then....confirmed only one more episode of Endless Eight, unless they really want to troll the fanbase and diverge from the source material. Which I wouldn't exactly put past them.

Solachinx 2009-06-25 11:49

So, how'd it end? I'm not lucky enough to see a raw and I heard it's depressing.
