Daaayyyym. Until last 10 minute, I thought I was goin to die for heart attack or something. What a great tensions. I am glad that I did not read novels.

Spoiler for ep. 6:

And that little boy, forgot his name....is awsome. I did not expect that he is such as side-kicker.

I feel that I heard the voice of Horo after a long interval.
It is unsatisfactory if there are no lines of Horo after all.
Instead, there is almost no time of Amati. I felt that the scene depiction in which Amati collapses was insufficient.
Moreover, the atmosphere of epilogue differed from expectation.
It was good except them.
Horo in a preview is cute.

The stage of the next episode is Renos.

Amatiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!! 。・゜・(つД`)・゜・。
It was a good end (finally) to the arc... All ends well, as expected.
Though it was unsatisfying that a major player in the arc (Ama-Tea) gets completely ignored after his loss. (-_-) Kind of like, So what happened to him afterwards...?

The arc's most memorable moments has to be watching Lawrence be so lame and keep failing and acting weak and having hilarious delusions. :heh:

The art in this episode was somewhat off? There was one side-shot of Lawrence's face that reminded me of the Grinch for some reason I don't want to understand... There was also a shot where Horo's breasts looked a little odd...

So ep 6 ends the story arc? If so, I can now finally watch the arc. (I decided to hold off watching until I could see the whole thing and avoid the week-long cliffhanger waits. For the sake of my sanity. :heh:)

EP6 is an end of this arc.
The story arc over two or more seasons starts next week.
I think it pleasant to wait for the following episode for one week.

Amen I often do that, because if he looses and the pretty boy and horo are seen leaving I would collapse and be unable too move for a week.

Man this show is so good. So incredibly good.

GuidoHunter_Toki 2009-08-13 00:38

Aside from the lack of showing what happened to Amati after his defeat (it kind of irked me), this was another well structured, entertaining episode.

EadTaes 2009-08-13 00:45

Finaly it's over and I am happy. But the rest needs a spoiler.

Spoiler for spoiler don't read if you have not yet watched.:

But I'll end with. THANK GOD LORD ALL MIGHTY THE CLIFFHANGERS ARE OVER! I couldn't take much more.

Master Chibi 2009-08-13 00:45

Who cares what happened to Amati?

I had been dying for Lawrence and Horo to get back together, so the less I had seen of that little blond shithead the better.

Spoiler for 06:

Another great episode, week in week out this show has delivers the goods :D. Though, I'm a bit dissapointed in Lawrence, or rather the way the Lawrence-Horo relationship works out - I wanted to see Lawrence telling Horo off for a change, but, I guess that's not going to happen any time soon :heh:.

As for Amarty's reaction, meh, I wasn't particularly disappointed. He was a pretty-boy after all, and he had just fallen to Horo's charm. It's not like he was really in love with her, and they say his losses weren't that bad, although it must have been quite a bad shock. I think the line ' This is punishment for trying to steal someone else's woman' (along with , maybe on part of my imagination, a slightly sheepish look on amarty's face) sums it up. From the perspective of the Spice and Wolf world, I would guess he'd move on without too much trouble (dont quote me on that, I haven't read the novels)

On a side note

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I want to know what Amarty told Horo!!

SAME :D

On a side note, YES I WAS RIGHT ABOUT DEANNA!!!!

Spoiler for Deanna and Horo:

Revenger1589 2009-08-13 01:45

So this arc ends on a good note as expected, Lawrence and Horo's relationship is a lot stronger now so it was all worth it.

My only complaint about the first half of this season is the lack of interaction between or two protagonist, I know it was necessary for the plot but it's still a shame. It should be fun to see how they act around each other after this though.

S&W continuous to be a show that I can't get enough of, every episode feels shorter than the usual anime because I want more.

HandofFate 2009-08-13 01:57

entertaining episode.

My thoughts exactly. Is anyone able to decipher exactly where he went wrong?

Wandering_Youth 2009-08-13 02:17

This little short arc was very entertaining, imo. It was surprising to actually see Horo depressed and crying, and then seeing Lawrence suffer so much when being separated from her.

Spoiler for Deanna the alchemist....:

I heard of kiss and make up, but in Horo's case it's bite and make up. *Chomp* :heh:

Swine Flu 2009-08-13 02:39

Wow, really great episode. But when Lawrence asked Horo what she would do after returning to her hometown she didnt reply. That kinda bugs me. Also, where did Horo get the money to buy the pyrite from? Amati?

Cirocco 2009-08-13 04:05

Excellent episode...all's well that ends well. A very tense suspense builds up to a pleasant conclusion, with fate rolling the dice between Horo, Amati, and Lawrence. Heh, always bet on Horo. Who would've thunk that the rise and fall of a market price would be exciting.

The relationship between Horo and Lawrence now progresses to the next stage of intimacy, especially with the reveal in which Horo overhears Lawrence questioning about gods mating with humans - and of course that love-bite that Horo inflicts on grateful Lawrence. Although Lawrence isn't a social butterfly, he accepts what he is but won't let that deter him from following his heart, traveling with Horo, even if the journey's end has an unanswered question...what will she do when she reaches home...?
