This is quite awesome, in fact, as grunt units (except Zakus and GMs) rarely come out as MGs.

Talk about left field :eek::eek::eek:

I find the MG GN-X a very appealing addition to the line, I mean just look at the lineart  This also makes it the very first grunt mecha outside of UC to get its own MG. :eyespin:

A Master Grade GNX?

jonli 2009-11-21 03:00

WOOOWWW!!!
I'm quite surprised at this! Master Grade GNX!? That's great news!
I would assume Flag would be the more popular choice, but GNX is a great design and it does deserve an MG incarnation. This also opens the line to GNXIII and hopefully GNXIV (that looks freaking awesome in the movie lineart).

I pray to see the Flag eventually, with GN Flag customizations like Exia with Repair parts.

Illsteir 2009-11-21 03:11

This is quite surprising. I wonder if Ebikawa's designs get some sort of special treatment :eyespin:

solidvanz 2009-11-21 03:18

MG GN-X coming in January 2010 at 3,780 Yen (inclusive of tax).

MG development design will be based on Kanetake Ebikawa's (海老川兼武) mechanical design.

I hope these eventually leads to a MG Ahead or Garazzo, hell I'd even try a Regnant.

Ditto. I like its design, more than some Gundams actually.

Okamidum 2009-11-21 03:49

Oh god, I'd rather not have a MG Ahead unless it came with conversion parts for Bushido and Soma's custom ahead. I'm really happy they're making a MG GN-X! I loved the design and now to get one in MG, makes it worth buying.

EDIT: I can't imagine them making a 1/100 MG Regnant because of its size compared to the gundams. I'd be too big for 1/100(id almost be as tall as a pg?). I think id be better as a huge 1/144.

Rising Dragon 2009-11-21 03:50

Any model of the Regnant would be needlessly huge, as we saw with the RD.

What's wrong with needlessly big MAs?

Precisely why it's not happening, lol. It'll break PG prices easily.

Take the HGUC Physco gundam. It's a 1/144 but it's as huge as a PG. A MG Regnant would just cost to much in the end and be way to massive for a MG. If anything, a 1/144 scale Regnant would be more logical, even then id be the size of a 1/100.

I'd like a MG Dynames or Reborns. More likely they'll make reborns but id also like to see virtue or seravee which are also gonna be a far stretch.

duotiga 2009-11-21 04:37

Gn-x...expecting later years to come out Gn-X II, Gn-x III & Advanced Gn-X

Storyline-wise,nothing much really.Kit wise yes.

The problem with Ragnant is that its too large which will drastically increase the price of the kit.The other prblem would be popularity, let's face it,the Ragnant is cool but most people are not going to take step and shelf out a lot of money for it,its just not that popular. It doesnt even have that many appearences.

The GN-Arms are part of the main character Gundams at least so there's some basis for that.

Kelrys 2009-11-21 08:00

Wow MG GNX! And check out the price, 3780 yen, a little cheaper than most MGs. This sure took everyone by surprise.

Sir Dearka 2009-11-21 08:37

Disappointed...
