Yeah, don't know about if they put mirage, maybe a remix or sth, these are just speculations, DEEN never gets the music right after all

Lambda part is perfect to use mirage for the first time.

No miragecoordinator because the lambda scene WAS SHIT, lambda don't scare anyone they ruin all his crazy faces HORRIBLE THE ADAPTATION FROM THAT PART.

The rest of the episode was ok.

Yea chronotrig, I was about to say it, cheers for all the Witch-hunt! I was afraid they wouldn't mention it (for some random motive) but they did!
I'll give this ep an 8, ange's whole denying was butchered to some small (really small) flashback, but that's not a big problem.

so they mentioned the Witch-hunters.. you guys sure got famous :heh:

Why has DEEN's quality so much and why couldn't it be done with the rest. This episode had a really good artwork (Deen's bland colours are a given), this people are just lazy

Speaking of this, could someone please help me in deciphering the kanjis of the seiyuu's name of Otsuki :heh:

I expected nearly nothing from this episode, because I hated this part in the VN (it dragged like hell and I actually for the first time stopped reading Umineko for 2 weeks in favour of another book at that point), except for Lambdas scene.
The surprise for me was that this episode really pulled me into the whole 魔法習い plot and I actually liked it.

I also liked how they cleared up (visually) that the two letters really seemed to point out that Episode 1 and 2 were planned, while 3 seemed to be a huge mess up.

I don't know about the Lambda scene, but as it was another rather tense scene, and the anime didn't have time at that point for mirage coordinators lengthy opening part, I didn't really miss the track here.
As long as they'll use it at one of two later points in this arc I'll be happy...as with Happiness of Marionette back in Episode 3, there are more fitting spots for the track in this episode, and I rather have them use their budget this Episode, because there's still tons of stuff they need it for.

Yay Witch Hunt :D! (he said it with just as much pride as he did in the novel, you gotta imagine Ryu insisted on it ^^)

Umm, well, I'm going to hold judgment until the subs, because there was one thing that kind of confused me (and it's pretty major in terms of my opinion).

Can someone post the whole page written in italian in Maria's diary? I have already looked at it in the preview but quality sucked, so I want to check it in a better resolution.

Then I'll provide a translation.
