INDEED, WTF?!?!? poor loli ;)

Eisdrache 2011-06-30 18:22

Akiha has the worst swimsuit I have ever seen in anime.

Otherwise a nice picture though :3

Malkuth 2011-06-30 18:34

Oh! poor tsundere oujo :p

Leo_Otaku 2011-06-30 21:25

this looks like it will be quite fun XD

DragoZERO 2011-06-30 22:15

I don't recall Akiha being that flat. She deserves more justice! Nasu makes great tsunderes.

And where is Rider and Sakura!?!?!?!?!

So I saw this thread, and reality seemed to break. Type-moon and comedy? Are we talking some sick, sadistic Japanese form of comedy here, since Type-moon and comedy generally aren't used in the same sentence. Then I see the trailers a couple pages back... and this is an instant MUST WATCH. Appears to take away the Grimdark that Type-moon is infamous for, add in harem hijinks (which I live for)... we have ourselves a winner.

Type-moon isn't necessarily dark. I also like their slice of life stuff before it turns despair time.

LostHanyou 2011-07-01 20:45

Akiha's expression :D

Definitely want to see more of Sakura

Akiha: Nii-san :frustrated:

Shirou was lucky no one was bantering him. No Sakura or Rin.

Actually, Type-Moon does very well with the comedy. Kagetsu Tohya was hilarious, after all.

Yes, I am really surprised Rin isn't behind them with a mean face.

Kaleido Ruby, anyone? (For the TYPE-MOON savvy whom have played fate/hollow ataraxia. For everyone else, it's Magical Girl Tohsaka Rin.)

In the light of more good news, she's accompanied by magical girl Len and nekomimi-equipped Kohaku!

Dear god they have Phantasmoon too. All they are missing is the cast of FATE/KALEID LINER PRISMA ILLYA and thier mahoshojo would be complete.

Is there someone who would explain to me what will be the plot of this anime? I'm quite ignorant with this new anime. Thanks.

jzmagic 2011-07-04 22:23

This is awesome, I love F/SN and Tsukihime. So is this going to be similar to FMP Fumoffu with short stories and comedy? I hope theres going to be relationship development since both of Type-moon's series had heavy emphasis on the romance.

There is no such thing as plot in this series. Its a crossover just for gun.

Lexxus 2011-07-04 22:44

Oh I see. My bad. I thought it has a plot. So its more a slice of life type anime?

Kagayaki 2011-07-04 23:31

^ This should give you a feel for the general atmosphere.

It's basically a giant omake compilation. There are at least 6 Tsukihime-related chapters translated right now for those of you who want to get a feel for it.

It's a self-parody of Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night. I assume you know the general story behind the two original works. Otherwise I'm pretty sure there are extensive wikis on the two.

Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night were and still are to varying degrees immensely popular and critically acclaimed visual novels that became anime series, both of them. Afterwards both became full-on manga series as well. One of Tsukihime's sequels, Melty Blood, has several incarnations and have, to date, three manga series based on it. The original material is very character and plot-heavy with lots of drama and dark takes on vampires and wizardry, yet at the same time filled with great humor at places.
