Judging from Dalong's scan of the manual, there aren't any "pure" colors that I can spray on, and painting might actually end up being more expensive than just buying both kits. Oh well, guess I can give the extra Aile Strike to my kid brother.

Any words on the 1/100 MG Hi-Nu Gundam?
I just cancelled the pre-order today because I really need a review of it first before I can buy it. Hopefully, Dalong will have some feedback ASAP.

I find it quite odd that we haven't even seen things like the boxart for the Hi-Nu, especially when it's suppose to come out in just over a week. And Gundam Base hasn't posted the usual pictures yet, so I'm guessing it's not even out in Korea yet.

I dont remember Gundam Base ever posting the boxart images. Thats usually something that we get if Bandai decides to display them at trade shows, as was that case with the last few MGs. But it is weird how we've not gotten a single image cuz someone always managaes to get it somehow.

Guess we'll have to wait for dalong to scan it like he usually does.

Is it official that it'll be released in February or will there be likely a delay?

Oh it'll released on time as it stands, just that no more pics have yet been posted of it yet. The last pics were a couple of weeks ago, showing off the completed and painted model with the display stand.

Bandai, just what the hell are you doing ?

Well.....unless there's something special about those pairing sets, then that is just a waste of time and money. Anybody who wants those models will have already bought them a while ago when they were released individually. :eyebrow:

You know, those dual packs just may not be a waste of time/money for Bandai....maybe Bandai did a massive recall on all those 4 models and decided to package them in pairs in time for the GSD SE IIIIIIIIIIII special :heh: :heh:

I would buy, but if that $50 tag is right, then my Justice had a right to feel sad :heh:

Looking at those Akatsuki pics makes me cry as I struggle to stay away from the PRE-ORDER button at HLJ.

Damn, is it "Akatsuki", or "Akatsuki Gundam"? I wish that Bandai would settle on a name. Well, it doesn't really matter anyway since only like 5 characters in the CE universe use the word "Gundam". Model itself looks pretty nice, I'm guessing Bee-Craft is behind the release again.

And LOL @ the VS sets. I hope it's a joke or something.. :heh:

Well, I'm no expert, but IIRC it's somewhat like the Amatsu = Amatu thing. It's spelled Amatsu in hiragana, but pronounced Amatu. In this case though, it's the opposite case, but botched in english romanization ^^;;;

well, the 1/100 GSD kits didnt do so well in Japan, except for maybe Infinite Justice and Legend. This might be a way for them to get rid of the remaining stock by repackaging them as pairs

It better be significantly cheaper than the individual kits, otherwise there's no point. I still wont buy the 1/100 SF and Destiny though, because to me they look like crap...

Well, they seriously should make a stand that can put all 4 of them together. Damn that Akatsuki is huge. It's so bling too.
