Here is the images for episode 15 if anyone is interested. Feel pretty bad for Haru in this episode, he really did hit rock bottom by the looks of it.

Just as I expected Noumi shows how much of an asshole he is.

But when crisis comes true friends shines.

Ash BROller shall be named.

Lots of stupidity from every other character except Noumi (though Noumi's threat last episode didn't make sense either, so both ways), but well,
-A pig that can't fly is just a pig.
-My king's poweeeeeeeeerrrrr~~~~!!!!
-AFKs suck, so stop ruining everyone else's fun by going into the game

Dusk Taker vs Silver Crow.
That guy is no burst linker, he's just a leech.
Arita took the loss of his wings pretty badly..
That whole thing was really pathetic.
Nomi came, he saw easy prey and he conquered without breaking a sweat.
He doesn't play fair. He's arrogant, but he is also very resourceful.
Well, at least his first opponent Ash cheered him up a bit.
Who knew that guy would help him out.

Subs are out, nice episode.
We all knew Haru was going to lose, but Dusk Taker took his wings. I wonder how many abilities he can stock up before he reaches his limit.

This is why I love Ash Roller. He uses English no one can understand (even to other Japanese people). Giga sucks, Tera sucks, new words we will soon find in a dictionary? Not likely:heh:
Then we have censorship, not some random ray of light or inconvenient camera angles, but actual censorships. Showing the middle finger to viewers is forbidden, does the studio hope we will never notice we have 4 fingers and a thumb on each hand?:heh:
Riding a bike with a foot? The new cool way of riding?

So Ash know hows to behave normally, at least in front of his guardian.
Btw, Ash Roller confirmed to be part of the green legion.

Probably looking wayy too hard into this but at least there's a sign of season 2 from this episode, too bad it's probably staff being jerks though (but nice attention to detail nonetheless so +100 points for that).

Interestingly enough, the beginning fist fight was actually done better than I thought. Also, Raker kitaaaaaaaaa!!! ENDOU AYA KITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Man, I haven't watch anything by her for so long. Woot!

Noumi is a true sadist in this episode, he's currently the main reason I am continuing to watch this show, after the big "Crash and Burn" of the protagonists. I guess seeing Chiyu in action, would be another reason.

I wonder who Ash is in real life.

I'd have to say this: there are girls with more heart and fortitude that Haruyuki. Now, this is nothing especially controversial, gender is no bar to such virtues.

However, I think one of the reasons why Haruyuki is so offensive is because he violates our conception of what a man should be. Let's face it. Switch Haruyuki's gender and put him in a moe body, and I'd imagine many would be singing a different tune.

I have a wild theory, by the way, that Ash Roller is one of the passerbys that the bus Haruyuki was on drove past in that scene before Brain Burst.

Oh, and the fact we all hate Nomi at least shows that the Studio is succeeding.

I said it before and I'll say it again: Haru = reverse moe

I have lost any sympathy I had for Haru. His self loathing and self-destruction is beyond annoying. Add on top of that, he has gone back to his old ways of attacking and blaming those who care about him instead of addressing the real problem.

Noumi is annoying. But that is his character, and he will get his just dues. However, Haru giving up before even trying to fight back... horrible. If he was going to give up everything, might as well tell Taku the whole story. Either way, he ends up losing his wings for good (unless he gets it back some other way). If KYH finds out, she will probably beat the living daylights out of him. Haru was not going to even discuss this with KYH before giving everything up. I have no idea where his IQ went this episode.

Now, Sky Laker (a Lakers fan? :p j/k) seems like an interesting character. I wonder if she is truly in a wheel chair in real life? She looks like she might be able to help out Haru from blowing himself up. I wonder why she is living in a cottage in the middle of the Unlimited Field, and on top of Tokyo Tower to boot? She seems very mature, and if KYH was here, would probably instant kill her out of jealousy. :heh:

As for how Haru will regain his wings, I guess he either has to find a way to force it back from Noumi, or trick Noumi into taking too many skills, which would overload him and force the wings back onto Haru.

It's another subversion of gender roles, I think,if you look closely at Haru and KYH's characters. If the author had decided to make the MC Female instead, but give her the exact same personality and backstory and dialogue (well, adjusted for gender differences) Haru, Accel World and reverse gender Haru might be seen differently- more sympathetically, probably.

For example, Haru losing his wings in this episode, had Haru been female would have been likened to RAPE.

Alas, double standards.

Ash Roller is back!
In just that half of the episode, think he turned into one of my favourite characters for this show.

Haru loses his flying power and was feeling pretty down... Looks like trying to finish the enemy in style backfired.

Not so much a double standard in that Nomi's pretty much forcing neotare onto Chiyu in having her cheer for him instead of Taku or being with Haru, and he's going to flaunt it in front of everyone - that he's so amazing and unstoppable because of Brain Burst.

It may be my uncaring American side talking but - ruining my social standing by having 'footage' of a female friend of mine in the locker room?
Really...? That's the best you can come up with? *pawnch*

This doesn't excuse Haru's behavior, despite all the crap he's gone through. What is Nomi going to do - duel Kuroyukihime and say something like he'll never give Haru's wings back unless she starts doing what he wants? It's almost laughable to even imagine it...
Taku would impale him ten thousand times worse than Vlad the Impaler could ever do, and let's not get started on what Kurohimeyuki would do to that s.o.b. :heh:
I bet he would say something like if he gets forced out of Brain Burst that the abilities he stole would never come back just to try and save his own skin.

Well i hope Nomi gets run over by a bus in the real world. Though Haru has reached a new low. Glad Ash was being a bro when it counts and introduced him to his guardian.

This episode made me lose all interest in the series. Between Haru's over the top self-loathing and the villain type I hate more than anything in the world, it's turned into something I can't enjoy.
