I used to buy from Japan based stores exclusively (R10, HLJ, Amiami) until I realized how competitively priced American stores were. I found that ordering a MG kit from Gundam Store and More was about the same price as ordering from Amiami. The difference being that one used super slow SAL shipping (2-3 weeks) and the other used UPS ground. No brainer for me. :D

But yeah, I miss the days when 1 USD got you 117 yen. Sigh.

kk2extreme 2011-01-20 23:23

I bought a PG 00 riser + SD stargazer + decal, shipping cost is 80 USD, oh well, I checked the shipping cost for MG kits, they are like 20 USD or something on HLJ

What shipping method to you use? EMS?

Sworra 2011-01-20 23:59

That is why i like to order from hobbywave.. They use a flat rate for shipping, its $12 anywhere U.S, and $20 for Canada, so its not so bad if you think about it when you order over seas..The only thing that sucks is that they don't send orders over seas its only Canada, U.S only. :(
But on the bright side i can order 30 kits and not pay for the use of weight which is damn good to me, That is only if i can afford 30 kits at once. lol Cheers

Finish!!!
my........errrr..............9th 00 Kits??
man, i really have a lot of 00 kits

especially setsuna's MS
bah who cares
http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/7435/83884191.jpg

00Qan[T]
the main MS for the newest gundam Movie : the Awakening of Trailblazer
good movie, good story and good graphic and excelent sound (try to watch it using headphones)
but for me the main MS for this movie are Harute and Zabanya to be honest

*Cmon , 00Q only appear for last 10 minutes*

about the kit itself, it's much easier than 00 Raiser
especially the extra part (Full Saber)
its much easier to paint compare to XN Raiser (oh yeah, believe me, XN Raiser is pain in the ass to paint)
the 00Q itself is pretty much same to PG 00 Raiser in details

i didn't do many modification, only detailing
like i said before, i don't want to change the shape when modifying
but somehow people never realize what i was did in this kit
and they said i was only paint it
its make me angry sometime

meh, enough with chit chat

enjoy :D

Dude, what devil did you sell your soul to to get such skills, and what's his email? Did you add panellines? I can see it's somehow different, but I can't pick out all the differences. Overall, you did one hell of a job.

Vandalier 2011-01-21 08:25

i sold my soul to lucifer LOL

yes i add some panel lines and some detail

thanks for the comment :D

i'm guessing you're in the states though. getting anything from the US is a pain in the ass if you're not in the US.

I've looked at buying from gundamstoreandmore and the shipping was way more then getting it from japan

Ah yes, my post only applies to people living in the US. :heh: I hear Europe has it pretty rough though. Huge custom fees and such for every package.

customs arent that horrible to be honest, 12% of the total price if i remember correct, ordering a large amount of models at the same time is out of the questions though. :x got hit with a 80ish dollar fee for 6 kits once.

That time of the month again folks!

No pics, but Cybergundam has the following listings of new model kits from Hobby Japan Magazine:

(3) 4月發售: 模型 HGUC 1/144 Jegan ECOAS仕樣 1,600Yen

(4) 5月發售: 模型 HGUC 1/144 Dreissen 戴袖仕樣

Aile Strike for the next RG? That's surprising... but not as much surprise as I have for the Wing Ver. Ka getting a remake, likely to make it more in line with the latest EW incarnations of the Wing mechs.

velocity7 2011-01-22 02:19

I'd like to see the 00 series get the RG treatment at some point.

RAVNEN 2011-01-22 02:59

Aile Strike get a RG treatment...?? Great, can't wait to see the detail of the kit. Those Jegan Ecoas Type have a bazooka...a must have indeed..:D

Considering they are going to release a more updated version of Wing Gundam ver Ka., will they also remake the Wing Zero Custom?

This release of the Wing Gundam Ver. Ka can be liked to the MG Unicorn Ver. Ka and OVA releases: The original with the "Ver. Ka" label, and the relabelled later model which features redesigned parts, brighter colors and a reduced number of decals.

Given that the Wing Zero Custom wasn't released as a "Ver. Ka" line kit initially, I doubt it'll get a remake unless they make it a v2.0.

A Real Grade Aile Strike? I must a miss a bus cause didn't think it would still be so popular among Bandai.

HG Dreissen is great, but I never heard of the ECOAS Type....

StrikeFreedomV2 2011-01-22 05:09

RG Aile Strike? New version of Wing Ver.Ka? I need to change my pants... Best Gunpla news this I heard in long time.

helois 2011-01-22 05:37

GOSH!

RG Aile Strike!!!!!!!!!!

(then sword and blast version? or additional backpack..)

What I mean is, is Bandai going to release an updated version of the MG Wing Gundam Ver. Ka (2004 model kit) for the Gundam Wing: EW manga?

It's officially the "Wing Gundam EW" version, which is basically just the Wing Gundam Ver. Ka, but remade in the "standard" MG line instead of the "Ver. Ka" subline of MG kits. As to the extent of the changes, that hasn't been made clear yet. We'll see if this Wing Gundam EW will be like a ver. 2.0, or like the MG Unicorn Ver. Ka -> MG Unicorn OVA in terms of upgrades.

The main reason why I thought Bandai would make another Wing Zero Custom is because, like the first MG Wing Gundam, contains identical parts; just like the MG Deathscythe EW and the soon to be released MG Gundam Deathscythe Hell Custom.

StrikeFreedomV2 2011-01-22 07:40

Did I get month´s of release right? The new Jegan and RG Aile Strike in April, the Dreissen in May and the MG Wing in March? Wasn´t Shenlong supposed to come out in March?

It's essentially the same thing as the Wing Ver.Ka released back in '04. But with deeper colourings and incursion of 2 stand compatible parts.

You are not missing anything if you already owned the Wing Ver.Ka.

Appel 2011-01-22 07:51

RG aile strike? well that was a big surprise for me^^
a new wing ver.ka is good news for me though, i dont have the first one

So they just re-releasing it? That sucks.

duotiga 2011-01-22 08:23

im hoping for deathsycthe hell tv ver

rg aile strike is kinda unepxtecting

StrikeFreedomV2 2011-01-22 09:14

I kinda hope it becomes a trend in the RG series, that a Lead Gundam gets released first, than the suit of the Main Character´s rival, in Strike´s case the Aegis.

Also, if they release a fully transformable Aegis, Bandai could test the joints for future transforming Gundam´s like Zeta Gundam.

I still hoped, Bandai would improve the kits articulation a little, like they did with Unicorn Gundam :(

well, the kit hasnt been released yet so maybe they did change a couple more things? i mean, even for bandai it would be just lazy to re-release a MG from 2004 with just slightly better colors :P
i DO hope though that the new kits wont fall apart when you just look at them funny... that seems to be a running theme with bandais latest models >_>

The black Qubeley Mk-II stands as a testament to Bandai's effort.

And perhaps the most expensive and meaningless Gunpla release ever :-

http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/6...5681591601.jpg

This SD Qubeley alone requires one to foot out 35,000 yen for it.

justavisitor 2011-01-22 15:54

RG aile strike?? oh Yes!! aile strike is one of my favorite...wanna buy hg,but the color sucks XD

finally an aile strike that has the right color and the right size (I only collect hg size)

hmm, should I cancel my plan of getting GM-custom?? :D

MoonLightShadows 2011-01-22 18:30

:D I'm excited, for the HGUC Dreissen Sleeves Ver, I have been wanting to get a HG Dom Trooper type mobile suit for awhile now. The RG Strike sounds like it will be good.

I dunno how much a PG is in yen (i buy in HKD/USD) but isn't that within the PG price range?

It goes beyond what's current, actually. The PG OO Raiser and Strike Freedom retail for 25,000 yen.

duotiga 2011-01-23 09:57

doing mg v gundam ver ka right nw....whcih core fighter shld i put as main? with v fin or hexa head? i got core booster seperate but might consider getting mg v dash box together later of the year....

X207 2011-01-23 19:22

is the 00Q full saber a limited release? i have yet to get a 00Q due to a backlog in unfinished kits. i do plan to get 00Q, the normal is good but the full saber looks like a better buy. is the 00Q full saber an MG or HG. i prefer hg as it takes less space. when is the time to get it if it is a limited release?
