:eek::eek::eek:

Now that I like, the previous Sniper MS had all goofy looking rifles but that actually looks like a Sniper Rifle.
Looks like I found my Sniper suit, always wanted one but was put off with the daft looking guns.

@duotiga: very nice. im no huge fan of pre assembled figures but the RD line does look very nice.
they are in 1/144 scale, right?

How about Zaku I Sniper or Dynames or Cherudim? I think those have decent looking rifles.

Dynames and Cherudim are not bad(actually been meaning to get them) but wanted another besides them. Not a 00 gundam.

Personally tho love that rifle the SNiper II has, old school like:p

HG Gundam AGE-FX

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lm9eNc1LS6...10/s1600/2.jpg

That rifle seems absolutely more HUMONGOUS compared to the promo pics or art, though its noticeable that its extra bulk seems to be a result of have extra parts attached to it. One of the rifle's three modes perhaps?

Yesman 2012-06-15 04:15

I hope those green things on AGE-FX are X-transmitters that also act like remote weapons.

HGUC GM Sniper II!! I'm surprised they didn't release it during all those GM releases last year, but at least it's coming.

bio9205 2012-06-15 07:26

Woah. That's a huge rifle. Also - I noticed the shoulder flaps on the AGE-FX appear white in some images, but blue in the lineart and this latest image. So what's it gonna be?

The "A" on its chest is also in transparent plastic. I wonder why Bandai didn't make it trans-green like all the C Funnels. Oh well, I'm glad it's transparent plastic at the least, to paint it green.

duotiga 2012-06-15 07:40

the skirt layout of the funnels reminds me of providence/legend & thats a huge gun ....wonder whats the 3 modes are

suiton629 2012-06-15 09:01

I really hope that the Genoace Custom, G-Exes, and G-Bouncer get MG treatment eventually...

And then we can hope to see the JackEdge, Age-2 Normal (Special Ops), and DarkHound getting MG releases as well.

LoweGear 2012-06-15 09:41

I'm betting more on the FX getting MG treatment first, given that it's going to be a main Gundam.

... and suddenly, I'm VERY EXCITED at the thought of an MG AGE-FX

So you really think that the Woolf suits won't get MG treatment? I mean if we get Genoace Custom MG, then Bandai could easily spam out a Genoace (regular)...sort of like the Zaku MG kits..eheheh

Aside from that...

Can't wait for eventual...

MG Age-2 Double Bullet
MG Age-2 Normal (Special Ops) --> probably a limited edition release like the HG one
MG Age-3 Normal
MG Age-3 Fortress
MG Age-3 Orbital

I really really hope to see...

MG Genoace Custom
MG G-Exes
MG G-Bouncer
MG G-Exes JackEdge
MG Age-2 Dark Hound

>_<

I guess sort of like my extreme preference of the Gundam OO series (still waiting for MG Exia R2), Age is slowly becoming my favorite as well. :p

And we all know what that means...

This image clearly shows it in green on the AG version. As to why the HG has the clear one... Maybe the clear one is a cost cutting measure. Or a prototype?

suiton629 2012-06-15 10:26

I am wondering if the AGE-FX is like a combination of the Age-1 Normal and Age-3 Normal?

maknaedik 2012-06-15 10:37

Where's my HG Clanche? T_T

So there's already a boxart for MG Age-2 Normal, but none yet for MG Buster? Is Age-2N coming out first? I actually forgot the schedule, for the first time.

Is that final? It's really tame for a MG Box art...dual wielding is cool and all, but the pose is lacking

A literal translation of the label under the boxart reads "Package is still under considerartion".

well they better consider a new one! because this sucks pretty bad^^
although there were alternatives for the blitz' box as well, one showed it with partial mirage colloid cloaking .

Rising Dragon 2012-06-15 13:50

Still better than the generic rifle point pose they usually use for Gundam models.

Don't care about cover art... =) I know the final one will look decent at least, but I'm happy that ultimately we're getting the MG Age-2 Normal first and foremost.

its different, i give you that much^^
however, i think making a model kit that can move all over the place and then not having it do anything at all on the cover isnt a really good idea...
the boxart of the MG OO Qan[T] didnt really have an action pose as well but at least it had a neat flying pose with a ton of purdy particles.

Bonta Kun 2012-06-15 15:11

Have to count me as one that doesn't really care for box cover art, it's all about the models.
As long as the box is strudy and spacious enough to fit everything and it arrives at my doorstep in one piece then it's all good baby:p

If I start caring about box art for gunpla, then it will most likely carry over to other model stuff I get and I gotta say they for the most part are very very basic.

Crappier box art means easier to throw it away:p

Providenceangle 2012-06-15 17:23

Meh! It's just box art. I only care about the gundam. I doubt I'll get the MG though. I've become pretty set on HG kits.

Got my HG kits today. Built Kyrios and Spallow age 1 already. Camera needs new batteries, so pictures are gonna have to wait.

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2012-06-15 21:13

Kickass box-art does help though. A nice kit with cool box-art is just like good food that smells great. They encourage your appetite :D.

I guess I'm odd then. I look at the kit, reviews and think about modding potential. I'm often surprised when I finally build kits, that I would have passed up if not for seeing a review. I will admit I have to take a leap of faith sometimes on certain kits.

We'll it could use some more dynamically posed wings like this:

X207 2012-06-15 22:57

are there any animal safe acrylic paints on the market? i have a crested gecko and im plannning to make a DIY ledge for him to sit on. i have the list of products needed to make the ledge but id like to look into the idea of painting it. i plan to cover/seal the ledge with mod podge or some similar porduct.

my question is if Tamiya acrylic paint will be toxic regarding its composition when contacting with the final sealant? i do have some spray cans and Humbrol enamel paint but i figure acrylic paint is safer. if there is no such safe paint then i'll do without painting the ledge.

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2012-06-15 23:22

As far as I know, all paints are toxic (to little animals, in particular). So, If you really care for your crested gecko’s health, I suggest you to drop the paint. But that’s just me ;).

Nice model in terms of looks, but has the same faults as the normal bucue, no polycaps! Also his twinguns are to low mounted so their movement is hindered by the wings.

Next up will be a more serious MG again :D, also from seed ;)

It is pricey allright.

Then again for me, the IWSP alone it's worth every cent. Despite its bulk, it can actually stand on its own:

http://i50.tinypic.com/2q16nhd.jpg

Only issue is that you can't make the original RD Strike hold the IWSP's boomerang since unlike the Strike Rouge, the original Strike's left saber-wielding hand has its thumb and index finger molded together. Though you can just cut the molded part to fix the problem :3

Providenceangle 2012-06-16 11:18

Well I have them test built. Now to sand paint panel line and sticker.... Why do I like gunpla again? lol

thank you, Tamiya paints are flammable to start with. i know theres some non toxic acrylic on the market though i have yet to find it.
